Description

It is often unclear when a thing comes to an end, the world itself no exception. In the event of the world ending, it was both abrupt and unnoticed, something down right confusing to most involved.

Due to this confusion, we will quickly cover the short window of events that led to the destruction of the generally known universe, following the primary instigators to hopefully give the whole thing a little much needed context.

Author’s Note: I intend to release regularly, hopefully weakly, within the planned three arcs. However, it may go on hiatus between arcs, but it should be clear that an arc has ended.

Regardless, I currently plan to go on hiatus after the third arc, which is intended to be a natural breaking point. This is with the hope of not dropping off in the middle of narrative, and I am mentioning it now so no one is surprised if there are planned pauses.

Content Warnings: I do not plan to include anything I would see as profanity, gore or traumatizing content. However, I do expect my bar for what qualifies is both above some people’s and below others.

Therefore, I am including the Content Warnings so people are not surprised when my view is different. If you find something you do not like, I wish you luck in moving on without it farther concerning you. If I was not as extreme as you were hoping, I apologize for not meeting expectations.

I have not marked sexual content, since I do not intend to include explicit sexual acts. However, sex and sexuality still exists and may come up as both an offscreen event or subject.

Cover Art: The art work is by me, and I will take it down immediately at request from the artist.

This story has no right to be this good. It should have been, edgy, boring, and badly written.
Instead, all of the typically edgy troupes are well written, and the world is well built. The English is hard to find mistakes in. The characters are sometimes not fully defined, but that seems intentional. The way the world is shown is great, it's almost a mystery story, but with even a little thinking it is comprehensive.
This is a wonderful, hidden gem, I can only recommend a slightly more descriptive synopsis, and that you all give it a read.

Overall: Wow, well, this is a story alright. It reads something like the fever dream of a strung-out heroin junkie, in both good and bad ways. The good: It's a metaphysical trip with an interesting character motivation shrouded in mystery. The bad: An overreliance on passive voice weakens the delivery, and characterization is juvenile and trite.
Style: Written in the self-assured tone of a divine being, the text must be equally impeccable. As aforementioned, an overreliance on passive voice makes certain sections unreadable. Also, tone down the arrogance a bit, current levels are a turn-off. Have you tried using the Hemingway app to practice brevity?
Story: The strongest category. Building the mystique over the character's direction and motivations is handled well, with the reader given gradual breadcrumbs along the way to keep them interested and guessing. Sometimes certain interactions feel unrealistic or canned; making the side characters' actions more natural will help the story progress smoothly through those sections.
Grammar: Lots of room for improvement here. I could still read the work and interpret the meaning just fine, but every chapter contained at least one convention error of some kind. Homonyms are your most common - are you using a grammar checker too, or just spell check?
Character: Hoooo boy, where do I even begin? Sam, the main character, is terribly overpowered, to the point that his interactions with people have no tension - he can and probably will solve the problem with violence. But he's not the only one-dimensional character! All of the female characters are physically incapable of being unattractive (I'm not joking). No other male characters feature in the story until the final chapter, except Mr. Head, who is decapitated, stabbed, and put in a dress during a fantasy sequence. This story emanates mysoginistic characterization in everyone it mentions, in the way the main character processes reality, and in the author's voice. I only hope th
