In the aftermath of Sofie’s betrayal, Megan deals with being powerless.

Abigail’s parents flee to Eurasia to meet their children, but the Council finds and kills them. Following their death, Alex realizes the group can’t stand a chance and develops a plan to ensure his liberty in exchange for Rachel.

Considering their promising results aren’t coming as soon as they’d hope, the Council decides to fake Emily’s death in an ever-growing environment of hatred against deviants.
