tThis story has been a ton of fun! I picked it up on 6/12 and binged it to current (early 6/17 am). It’s so easy to get sucked in.
there haven’t been any grammar issues, probably fixed before I got here since I saw some chapters with edits - and I appreciate an author checking and engaging with the comments like this one does.
that being said I have had to force myself to skip over most of the comments and some of the chapter end notes from the author - they were breaking the immersion too much when I just wanted to jump into the next chapter. It’s not that they were bad, but that I was that invested in getting to the next chapter.
Now that I’m current, I’ll have to join in on the comments now and then!
I hope this helps you decide to jump into and enjoy with the rest of us! - Alius NeoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Writer is JRR Tolkien of Royal Road. Need I say more?
It is as engaging as Harry Potter, support characters are as lovely as LOTR. This series is a hidden gem and belongs in S tier of LitRPG. I love it as much as I love HWFWM and 12 Miles Below. - BlurpleRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a fun twist on the whole "transported to another world" genre. Instead of your typical overpowered hero, we get Vin - a witty drifter who'd rather explore than fight and has zero shame about running away from danger. Love that energy!
The story throws in RPG elements like levels and skills, but doesn't get bogged down in endless stat screens and power-ups. It's more about using these gaming mechanics in clever ways as Vin explores this wild new world. Plus, the author has a great sense of humor - Vin's commentary on everything is fun to read.
What really hooked me was how the story focuses on exploration and discovery rather than just combat. Each new thing Vin finds builds more intrigue about this world, and there are some genuinely cool mysteries being set up. The whole opening sequence with transport to another world hits just the right notes of suspense and wonder.
The pacing is well-handled, with a good balance of action, discovery, and character interaction.
The writing style is light and humorous, with Vin's snarky internal monologue providing plenty of entertainment. At the same time, there's an underlying current of tension and intrigue that keeps you wanting to know more about this new world and its mysteries.
While it's obviously just the beginning of a bigger story, these first chapters are super engaging and leave you wanting to know what's going to happen next. If you dig fantasy stories with a sense of humor and adventure, give this one a shot! - Doxis_Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is fun escapism. A dash of power fantasy, a pinch of sci-fi, bucket loads of fantasy. Lots of shipping sprinkles to make you wonder is this a harem novel? Spoiler: it's not. However it is fun to tease the author that it is on the discord.

Violence and gore
Some language - Celt ComstockRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This book caught me and I ended up binge-reading it way too late into the evening. I probably should have read the warning in the other reviews about that “keeps you hooked” issue, and not started on it just before bed time, when I had an early appointment the next day. Well, anyway, you’ve been warned, so I’ve done my job there.
It is both the style and the story that do it. The style is clear and fast moving, but not too-fast. It is witty, so keeps you paying attention and then rewards you with fun quips. It works to keep you reading.
The story is very human, and is presented in a plausible and understandable way. There is a proper setup of the transfer to the new world, in which the military is reacting, as best it can, to an alien request. The background and the various characters’ reactions to the events seem reasonable and realistic given the event, so that the general science-fiction reader will find the book accessible, without needing to be familiar with isekai tropes.
The MC, Vin, is very relatable and a certain deepness of his character and thinking come across to the reader. His actions make sense, even as he struggles to deal with being thrown into a weird and unknown new world. The characters he encounters likewise are well-developed, with their own voice and perspective for their actions. None of the characters felt like stereotypes.
The book is also not a murder hobo gore-fest, as the MC and other characters try, and (mostly) succeeds in a more intelligent, cooperative approach to surviving the alien environment. The reader’s intelligence is respected through all the chapters.
As for the “grammar” rating, it is all very well written, and clearly was closely edited by somebody better at editing than I am. There were no distracting issues and the prose is clear. - BlareRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Vin's adventure is rather an interesting one, with the real government intervention in the grand scheme of things since he was one of the chosen one (not for the right reason, nor because of anything because of... spoilers), but it certainly not something really mainstream to have your literal government to play it out.
Style: As far as for a LITRPG goes, I don't see many tables here, not that it's a bad thing, it's just something you don't usually see everytime, but the author certainly can tell its story without that crutch, and personally, I like it.
Grammar: I don't see anything disturbing, grammatically speaking. I don't see any fatal sentence switching or something like that, and personally, I prefer it to be that way.
Story: The story of Vin in this another world certainly was something interesting since it has something to do with the universe death, and I can say that the story alone has its major qualities with the other side characterization that is build meticulously by the author so, us, the readers, can enjoy what the interaction with the other side would look like.
Character: Vin is a rather funny character, and I can say confidently that Vin can be empathethic to some, though I notice some part of the murderhobo thing that is a good thing, at least for me. - DatateqRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’m really enjoying this story. I really like the twist with the deities assembling the world through small segments of a bunch of other worlds. Encountering the different cultures makes me think a bit of Star Trek, but maybe with a little bit more variety and persistent impact on their situation. The main character is very interesting. His background is different than the main character that I’ve read a story about so that has a unique element to the story I’ve never encountered before. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next. Thank you for sharing your time and creativity.
- Deliverer98Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Exploration, magic, fleshed out characters with actual personalities, progression, smart MC, good written fights and meaningful Dialoge.

Man come on. Fifty words words hellooooo - JinadenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall - 5 (I’m stuck with him for the next couple of years)
Style - 3.5 (average)
Story - 5 (Room for so much development. Prevented himself for ever being locked in. Basically Star Trek or CSI capabilities
Character - 4.5 (Characters drives are meh but the buddy cop action is excellent with yet more room for growth, pruning, additions. He could throw a die to shape the growth and it would work. He’s done excellent so far fleshing out the support cast.
Grammar - 3.5 (Average, no problems so far)
Please don’t turn this onto an endless story. It would be nice to get closure, you have me by the neck.
