Community Rating
Description
Fire devours wood. That is the law of the world. But what happens when the wood fights back?
One moment, Pinaka was a quiet man eating dinner. The next, he was reborn as an Elf in a fallen world.
Once rulers of Gangnea, the Elves have lost their cities, their power, and their connection to the World Tree. But while his new kin mourn the past, Pinaka sees something else—a chance.
First goal: escape.
All he needs is one opening.
What to Expect:
A Non-Restrictive Power System – Creativity > stats. Break the game.
A Cunning, Patient MC – Prep matters. No rage-fueled fights.
No Harem, No Romance – For real.
A Game-Like World with True Build Freedom – Custom growth, no presets.
A Dark, Strategic Uprising – Slow-burn. High stakes. No mercy.

- Ahhhhh282828Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Elven Uprising by Anvelope is a fast-paced fantasy novel that subverts traditional elf tropes. It follows a rebellion against oppressive human rule, blending political intrigue, magic, and brutal warfare. The world-building is rich, and the elves are portrayed as fierce revolutionaries rather than ethereal beings. While the pacing is intense, some characters lack depth. Overall, it’s a gripping but slightly uneven read for fans of dark fantasy
The background/creation story of the world is interesting and in my opinion explains the world very well. Adding on to this world this concept of Authority and it just kept me hooked even if I must admit that the tags of No Harem and No Romance definitely helped me out in choosing to read this story since I myself am not a big fan of Romance and all that stuff.
- Capybara_Enjoyer2137Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very good, very amazing
Burn the humans, burn the stupid tree
Scorch earth tactics till we win
Thinking this makes my head go wszzzz
Great premise, hopefully even greater continuation
Amen
The only issue so far is that every character is a different flavour of a sweaty gamer, eg there are no ladies in sight, feels like the same formula as the authors previous book (surpassing the mc) but with a less expansive execution. - DARKzDOPERoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very interesting premise
Humans reincarnated as non-human slaves to fight against human, now that’s new
The lore seems pretty well developed and the power system feels solid The fact that the status screen can be seen by anyone quite intrigued me this might lead to some unique approaches to things - Progenit999Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just like ISTMC, the power system is unique and full with the power of imagination. I Truly love how it work, and is not some static power levels which are always the same. It is still the beginning, so i can not say much, but love it till now. The mc has a desperate beginning like inala, which powers is growth. And the enemy is strong and a lot, which makes me curious how the mc will deal with it. And how he will escape .
- True GreyheartRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The author held extra chapters from his other novel hostage so here I am
Straight of the bat I have to say that the story starts out with a very clean setup no to complex but at time interesting non the less, on this I like is the fact that this worlds power system is so far easy to understand yet it leaves a lot of room for creativity which can in turn give a bit of insight about each character depending on how the author shapes this out to be.
That's all I have to say for now, but I do hope that there were more chapters but I guess you can't eat your cake and have it
To whoever has read this far have a good week. - Vjar9Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The lore of the world is interesting. The power system is unique and different from the usual stories I read. I like how the MC is smart and not someone who just suddenly died young like most stories. The author did a great job explaining everything, i especially like the MC realizing that his perspective as an elf is different than his life as a human
- ZikatonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The power system is interesting like anvelope knows how to make them. The MC has some similarities with Inala from ISTMC, which is a good point for me. The story has just begun but I'm already on my toes, the world building is alright for now. I just hope it is in the same universe as ISTMC.
- wwillowispRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Whew, I pulled an all nighter to read this and it was so worth it! First of all, the world building is GREAT. You get a feel of the past, current, and possible future state of the world almost immediately. While the story doesn't go crazy inventing new things every second, it does change and use old concepts in unique ways, which makes it very memorable. Next, the characters themselves. I love how realistic their thoughts, conversations, and reactions are! It made them more relatable and funny at times, and this is certainly a story that makes you need those giggles! Because it does have dark (and I mean dark!) parts, but as someone who doesn't even watch horror movies cuz of how queasy gorey things get me, I got thru it while only wincing or grimacing ~(˘▾˘~) and thats another thing, the author(s?) isn't scared of not making the magic fit moral standards, which opens up a ton of other ways to use it. Never thought I would get disgusted by magic powers so thoroughly! (In a nice way!) 10/10 experience hahah I will be looking forward to updates~ (。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
