Eleknar's Heir
Community Rating
Description
Pantheons of gods compete for power, a universal apocalypse is on the horizon, and empires march their armies to war. Trey finds himself thrust into the middle of it all as an ancient evil embraces him as its heir. Meanwhile, Earth is consumed by a multiverse and millions are forced into realms of fantasy and myth. Will Trey be able to rise up and face the challenges? Or will he be consumed by the limitless horrors of his new reality?
> A rewrite of anantihero (and eventually semi-villainous)LITRPGnovel concerning a demonic summoner, with over 500k words pre-written and the intention to go further this time around.
> To clarify, this is all real and not digital (but the MC takes a bit to figure this out)
> There are a few other points of view to set up Trey's teammates, but this doesn't happen very often past the first half of book 1. I will try to highlight these areas with a prior note telling you that you can skip them / what you can skip so you can proceed to other parts of the story regarding only Trey's perspective (if you wish to do so).
> This Royal Road version has zero smut.

- Apannr1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is the rewrite of a great fiction and anyone that is interested in a dark and brutal world should consider giving it a try! This version is without all the smut that was in the original. So if you want that then read the version that will still contain all of that.
- DShakBRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I made this account just to rate this book because I've been a long time reader of this novel and feel it deserves a proper review.
First of all, I'd like to say it's overall great! If you like grimdark and brutal worlds with antiheroes, then this is a book for you. If you don't, then I'd not bother.
The style is where I have the hardest time, and perhaps this goes more in the "character" score. But the one thing I don't like is the multiple jumps between characters in the early first book. This definitely goes away to focus about 90% on Trey, but I feel like if the author got rid of these scenes and just focused on Trey in the early book it'd get more traction.
Grammar use is pretty good overall,l but it could use a professional touch up. Not bad, could be slightly better.
Story is 5/5. Absolutely great. Stay around this time to continue it.
Characters are all in depth (eventually) and I like each of them. Again, I think that these sholud be more from Trey's perspective, but otherwise it's pretty gold concerning how the characters feel like real people. Trey himself eventually turns a bit evil, as expected, but you still like him through the change, even when he makes hard plays at morality.
Would recommend this novel. It gets better the further it goes. - DerekTheKingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just a small prefice: I haven't read the original version so I may be missing a bit more insight than a few of the other reviews here, however I think from what I've read it's appropriate for me to make a review.
I don't have any issues with the story so far and the progression of Trey's abilities and power seem very rewarding as they aren't just clear cut benefits,
things like the symbiote now "sharing" his body and his demon powers that simultaneously give him strength, but clearly begin to change his attitude as he becomes more and more violent and bloodthirsty, while also gaining an appetite for demons.
I also didn't expect to enjoy Jason's side stories and originally thought they would detract from the original story, but his story really endeared me to him. I thought that the way the family interacts with eachother was very realistic, I could even picture my own family acting the exact same. I'm pretty excited to see how the other characters will meet and interact while also hoping to learn more about the world and the gods. Speaking of which, the All Spirit really reminds me of AM from IHNMAIMS, though without the hate.
I would say check the story out. It's pretty raw but if you can stomach the violence(adds to the story imo) It's definitely worth the read if you want a true anti-hero MC who isn't just an unfeeling sociopath, but actually has depth. - NizzreRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I read this last time and it was so good i subscribed to the patreon for advanced chapters. Happy author has returned to rewrite and continue this gem; screw the haters, do what you love.
Villian/Borderline True-Evil at some times from past memory. these stories are so rare, and rarer still for them to be of great quality. If you enjoy compatent, evil, yet not quite murderhobo protagonists, then this is one you won't want to miss out on. - VintearisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As I got older my tastes evolved to want something more than your typical generic goody goody litrpg experience and this series provided once exactly that and more :). And now the champion returns to rule once more!
Featuring likeable protagonist, expansive magic system, atmosphere similar to that of from Diablo series and mysteries waiting to be uncovered. - ReadingObsessedRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Came here after seeing some of the badass artwork in the RR ads. Full props for that btw.
Beginning felt very info-dump to me. Had to really force myself to keep reading. An interesting story with an interesting premise! Frequent grammar & structural mistakes that had me reread the paragraph to see what was meant. System over explained but then when he gained a bit of magic I felt it was under explained. He gained magic which came with mutations/aspects which weren't explained so I felt like I missed a chapter. Might have been in the 'press for spoilers' tag in retrospect.
So far there are 3 main characters - the MC on the tin from the ads, a generic saves the girl MC and an unlucky spawn point slave girl. The later two MCs I don't really care for atm. Slave girl was just introduced in the chapter above and generic savior just feels really cardboard thin currently. Character development will probably come along soon but so far feel free to skip the other main characters. I came here for the guy on the tin and think you might enjoy the story with just him.
