Description
What happens after a thousand years of grinding for power?
After a millennium of solitude on a magical island—killing monsters, perfecting her skills, and becoming literally godlike in power—Elaine's challenge finally ends. But instead of returning to Earth, she's sent to a medieval fantasy world where healing gifts exist but combat magic doesn't.
Now, with enough strength to punch through dragon scales and enough healing power to regrow severed limbs, Elaine must face her greatest challenge yet: remembering how to be human.
Elaineturns the progression fantasy genre on its head by asking: what comes after the power fantasy ends?

- Weird EyeballRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is one that follows a relatively interesting premise, and holds great potential in the future, I cannot, under good conscious, award this novel a perfect rating as it isn't a perfect story, with some grammatical errors and a major flaw. This flaw is in the characters, as their mannerisms and speech occasionally meld together, this is best shown between Riona and Elaine, who sometimes speak in bizarrely similar ways, but this flaw can be solved easily with some re-writes.
I appreciate this story as a good portrayal of a new beginning, and I hope that the author returns. - Wendy EnbyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly, in the beginning it wasn’t really clicking with me. The acceptance into the village felt way too easy and idyllic. When an early dramatic confrontation was interrupted with perfect timing by a larger threat, I rolled my eyes ngl.
That all is just my personal taste. After that, I was hooked and read the rest in one evening. I really love the type of op character that is bring depicted, and I love the relationships that such a character can form. Everything has become so interesting! I really didn’t expect things to go as far as they have and I can’t wait to read about how things escalate from here.
Thank you, author, for writing this. If you enjoy it, please keep writing, you’ll only get better from here. - ImTerribleAtUsernamesRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The description was great at capturing attention. The story itself did not deliver on it.
The character itself is just kind of indifferent about everything that happened. 1000 years of hellish grinding and the character doesnt even act out of the ordinary in any way, when the description acted like that was the entire main premise.
The fighting itself is kind of repetitive, like someone copy pasted run up to someone and punch 7 times. This is sometimes literally what happens, and not just in fighting. I've seen multiple long sentences just being copy pasted, told in a "she did xyz", followed up by a "he saw her do xyz" a little bit later.
It really just underdelivered on everything it promised to be, and then on everything it turned out to be as well. - petRoyal Road★★★ 2.5The story started good then went down hill fast, with the MC being an OP healer you would expect her to know what she's doing but she doesn't,
mistake after mistake like keeping a lying thef, someone who gets innocent people killed safe from harm and consequences for no reason or explanation
I hope this story gets a re-write
