Dying to survive

Description
*author's note after synopsis[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
What would happen if the world suddenly ended? Not just an apocalypse, but straight up ceased to exist. And what if you survived that? And what if, after all that, you now found yourself on a hostile world with no time to adjust?
Well, I don'd know what would happen if this happend to you, but I do know what this other guy did.
Follow the story of some guy as he survives hostile environments and discovers magic, I guess. And the System, of course.
Hey there, this is only my second story that I'm writing mostly for the sake of writing, so that I can improve. Don't expect anything serious, I'm going to specifically try to make it non-serious.
What else... I have no plan going in so at least the beginning is going to be all over the place. There is a high likelyhood that at least the System will be highly inconsistent. Oh, yeah, and the content warnings are there mostly just in case, though there will be some swearing.
Also, if you have a better idea for a title, please tell me.

- Re_XyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am still in chapter 19, but it started great and continued to get better.
I am excited and will update this once I reach the newest chapter.
It has eldritch horror, naked people, and a comedic seriousness.
The author used a few unnecessary words and letters, but this and all the dust that falls are my favourite webnovels. - 42offsideRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Think "The Martian" with a system, without quite as many life-threatening accidents, and with someone who has NO CLUE what they're doing. Or why. Another comparison to the storyline so far would be "Hatchet."
Only one character in the whole story for the first fifteen chapters or so, which means zero interaction with other people as there aren't any. No, not even a pet as a conversational foil. Not even any ANIMALS for that matter, not even fish.
So it's a good thing the MC is fairly likable. Still not really well developed as a character, I'd say, but still likeable, which is the important thing.
When people are added, it's actually done well. Hints of deeper politics without getting to far into things. Stubborn people making panicky descisions are always fun, as are communication problems. Not just the "doesn't understand the language" but also the ubiquitous "just failing to communicate, even though we think we are." types stuff.
Minor grammar/spelling issues throughout. Successful avoids exposition hell. Action/fight scenes are very limited (only a single short one so far) but it's done OK.
I couldn't quite give 5 stars, and it's not the grammar issues or the typos. It's the lack of character development. Likable characters? Yes. Interesting and sympathetic? Could use more work. OK, certainly, but not outstanding. Yet. The story still unfolds.
