I’m really enjoying reading this book. The characters are interesting and have a history and I love that. The cute little crushes that the 2 have are perfect and innocent. The friendship and bond shared are flawless and the incorporation into adulthood to share the experience they once had as kids into an advanced scene is perfect.

I must admit that I was surprised when i discovered that this series didn't either give us this sob story about how horrible their life is and how their game pays for them, or completes them. Neither does this series just immediatly jump us into the game, instead it literally takes 11 CHAPTERS!!!! and you know what.......... it was worth every one of those :) Now as for the starting 11 chapters instead of the before mentioned sob story that vrmmo's normally try to sell us Balr0g instead show's us how our mc builds up everything he needs in order to make vrmmo possible, all just to be able to play with his friends.
Now on another note if Balr0g every decides to go through the hassel of trying to put a completed book onto Amazon I gotta admit I would buy that book in a heartbeat.

I like this story so far. The back story fleshed out the charactors more than the norm on this site and blended well with the actual story.
there are some timeline areas the author may wish to revisit on a future rewrite, or at least explain away. The speed of the AI and neural chip development and the single handed founding of his company being the main areas.
There are some grammatical issues as well as word choice, but nothing that would make a reader stop.
I look forward to reading more chapters!

A tad too wordy for my taste. Everything before chapter 13.5 is basically one big prologue that doesnt do a lot for the actual story. I skipped vast parts of the various chapters.
Even when the game fiiinnnaaallllly begins, we get 6(!) chapters of shoping around for a tiny amount of starter gear.
Then 2 chapters of actual action and there we are. chapter 21. The End (for now)
I hope the author is in good health, because he'll need to live to a ripe old age to finish his story at that speed.
