Description
Mobs die. This is truth universally acknowledged by anyone who has ever played an RPG. But not all of them want to.
Follow a young Drakeling on his path to no longer get fed his own legs by over leveled fighters; his path to finding a home in the brutal world of Arkus; and maybe even his path to true love!.. nah. Fair bit of smut though!
This is a migration fic from CHYOA, and as such has quite a lot of mature content in it.
Also, this story is told in 2nd person. You have been pre-warned.

- John DoveyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I cannot recommend this highly enough. It's a completely different twist to a bunch of old tropes and done masterfully. The odd error in spelling or grammar is easy enough to overlook as you are engaged by the characters and invested "emotionally" in their development.
Be warned, the "smut" is so bad, it's good - NetiZenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So, I'ma start off with, no prudes allowed!
Ok, jokes aside, this story is smute hands down. So if you have a problem with that don't bother reading, don't bother commenting, just save everybody time and the bother and don't... There, now that that is out of the way let's get to the real review.
So what happens when a sentient NPC mob gets a dungeon? They screw around, create a harem, and troll the players.
The story is interesting, I took of half a star because I'm not a fan of rando smute. This takes it from an interesting story to random porn movie from chap to chap, and well yeah. That isn't to say that it couldn't be, but it doesn't pull it off like ELLC or Blue Core. Aside from that though the story is fun and hilarious.
The author hasn't truly come into their own style yet, but it is coming together.
Grammar: it's self explanatory.
The character's are relatively interesting. I would like to see more detail on the ones not randomly designated harem members. But so far his harem has gathered an interesting collection that might later become more interesting... but that's just the harem members, the rest might as well be named and detailed mob X. - Kurama97Royal Road★★★★ 4.0It was awesome actually. I was expecting some run of the mill sort of thing but this was really good. I like the characters when they're not um...feral. But those parts are good as well. I read some reviews and they said it was lewd but WOW. Every other chapter!? Someone's horny. Eh it's cool though, and it somehow works?
Anyways great story and looking forward to more. - StillnessRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5If your not into monster sex, this story probably isn't for you. Characters are actually decent. I don't expect much from this story beyond gaining power, building the dungeon, and sex. I think the 'in a game world' aspect limits the ablity to have an impactful story, but it's surprisingly entertaining.
- Waffle(est)Royal Road★★★★ 3.5It starts of as an intriguing RPG-from-NPC-perspective story. The world building is quite solid and there is some delving into the relationships of NPCs and Players.
Then it does a 90 degree turn. There is still some plot progression and MC amassing power and trying to transcend his status as a lowly monster. But More and more and more time is spent endulging sexual fantasies and the harem grows ever larger and ever more esoteric and ever more shameless.
It's decent for what it is, but I feel that it could have been so much more..
The (somewhat awkward, but servicable) first person perspective suggests that being a self-incert sexual fantasy was the goal all along.
The plot.. I don't ever remember what it is anymore, solving some harem members issues is what it was last at. Some not quite zombie apocalypse?
The characters are distinct and memorable so that's nice. And they seem at least mostly consistent. So far most of the characters we've seen are monster NPCs and reading about their struggle against those evil players is quite compelling. The few players seen thus far seem at least plausible and they havent don't anything too farfetched yet (but since they know its a game, and it's reasonable for them to basically do any random stuff for fun, this is perhaps not a tall task.). In contrast I really don't remember anything about the neutral or friendly NPCs, they simply arent a focus for the story and any interactions with them are uncommon and very brief.
And I havent found any distracting grammar issues recently so that's nice as well.
Overall, if you want monster sex, this is for you, otherwise... it's a hard sell. - The_World_Ends_With_YouRoyal Road★★★ 2.5It's fine, but it uses descriptors like you wake up in a forest.
It's hard to read when the story reads as if you are the character, especially when the synopsis says follow the drake on It's adventure. If that changes in later chapters i'll try reading it again.
50 word requirement bullshit. - WakaMetalbellyRoyal Road★★ 1.5The idea was interesting. The plot "seemed" solid. What let it down though was the writing. Whatever moron thought writing *Cencored* everytime somthing smutty happend, as a replacment for actual words (somtimes whole paragrephs) needs a slap. A really hard one. That mess killed this story. I didn't even hit the second chapter really. Hard pass.
