(Dropped) Crown of the martyr and martyr of the Crown.

Description
This is an older story which I do not think is up to my current writing abilities. Read at your own risk.
An undisputed being sits upon his throne, the Crown of damnation adorning his head. One gaze enough to make gods tremble, and one wave of his hand enough to make the mightiest of demons flee. An unfathomable cataclysm will surely arrive when such a being is slain and grasps another chance to walk among the living.
This is a story of a monarch more ancient than time itself defying the absolution of death in his eternal strive to accomplish his primordial goal.
And the Crown gazes on ravenously, its curse awaiting its next martyr.

Story with an overpowered mc who still thinks with his brain, not muscles. I believe I put my own twist on the reincarnation trope. The story is mostly told from third person view with mc’s perspective. New chapters are released 3 times a week.

This is an updated synopsis after requests from viewers.

I do not own the cover picture. That's been taken care of apparently.

- caerulexRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0There are books that make you love reading, books that you devour voraciously and at rapid pace.
This is one of those books, and it's excellent. Granted, there are a decent amount of spelling/grammar errors, but they don't deter me one bit.
The story itself is interesting, and the backstory of the main character is well-developed & shrouded in mystery that is slowly revealed over time.
Like some other reviews said, I agree that if you liked Forgotten Conqueror, you will probably like this too (even though they're very different books).
👍👍 - RationalMindRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As another review said, we need faster updates. Otherwise everything is good.
- FlavorTownRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0very nice, i greatly enjoyed it and its unique concept both caught my attention and held it, said concept is hinted at, revealed abit, but not fully, leaving me desperate to finished the puzzle (in a good way). story is a very good example of 'show don't tell' !
only complaints are that the system is a bit weird, but considering what he is it makes sense and is fine, and that mispelled words and missing letters occur around everyother chapter.
9.5/10 would recommend - pikquRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0My first review ever. Story description should be changed to reflect story. Picked it only when i was bored to deat and found this gem. Story is amazing. You make Machiavelly proud :). Bonus points for spell incantations and world building.
- 1HP_and_a_dreamRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5A wonderful story thus far (02-10), only marred by sporadic errors in sentence structure or grammer.
The characters are well written and act how they are described; a cowardly character would try to avoid conflict etc. - IhateeverythingRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Im lazy af, so just gonna say: forgotten conqueror 2.0.
(it isnt a copy, its its own thin) - JF41C0NRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It is beyond me how such a novel could be completely ignored, while others, in spite of their incredible mediocrity and lack of decent plot, get showered with praises and reviews (Yes, I'm looking at you Trailer Trash). In Crown of the martyr, characters have distinct personalities and are consistent in their lines of thought - you can tell who is speaking even when not explicitly said -, there is a sense of direction and purpose from the beginning of the story (no randomly wandering, doing random things protagonist for once) and the sub-arcs have very interesting twists, keeping the reader interested in the smallest details.
It is not perfect by any means: the beginning seems quite generic and there are quite a few slip-ups in grammar - which could be easily resolved with a proofreader. But as a whole, this novel went above expectations.
If you like reincarnation stories and well-thought characters, try it and you will not regret it. - Nicholas MorganRoyal Road★★★ 3.0With regret I must change my initial assessment of this story. The writing itself is fine, there aren't too many errors that I have noticed. The concept of the story is also very interesting. The issue is, whatever the main character motivations are, it's ambiguous at best. He seems to always have a plan, to always come out ahead and without any effort that the reader can discern. All the planning happens in a void and the readers are left with the results. I do not suggest to be given information in minutiae ad nauseum, however, small details that show ingenuity are elements that make a story, plans and results more believable.
Challenges are removed from the MC because he seems to get himself in situations that are out of his depth, but for which he always come through. Because he was given an escape button, and though it does have a draw back, it is wholly not significant.
I had initially given a review very early and that error was all mine. I do not mean to discourage the author or to suggest his writing is bad. Creating anything is difficult. However, a story is only interesting to read long term if one can be invested in the characters, their struggles , their failures and their successes. As the story is now, I'm not invested and thus this review. - NavyW0lfRoyal Road★★★ 3.0This one is a little hard to review, in all honesty. Not because it's got something hard to describe or anything like that, but just because there's nothing that stands out well-enough for me to immediately put my finger on.
But I will say that the grammar has had no errors from memory or recent chapters, The style is nice, and I can dig it. But it just lacks anything that resonates with me. The world and the system inside of it are rather superb though, I'll give it that. And the main plot-line, or at least the initial setup for it, is fucking phenomonal, but that does lead into a gripe of mine, however.
The story just seems to be progressing too slowly, at least compared to the MC's Endgame. Though I have the feeling that's the point that the author is trying to convey. But it still irks me somewhat.
The characters, honestly, I don't find appealing. There is nothing weong with them and they are all introduced and built pretty well, but none of this writing really makes an impact, which is mostly due to the style.
Sarvashakitmannm, I feel like you haven't really found your footing in the writing world just yet. It honestly feels like you're just emulating other people's writing style in order to implement your world, characters and ideas.I know it sounds insulting, and I could very well be wrong, but I think you should try putting more of your personality into your writing. Maybe take a look at how you see the world or how you interact with people and use your emotions during those times to make your writing feel more like a world and less like a play. - endoriaRoyal Road★ 1.0Children ans MC make no sense.
Nobody takes children seriously and for some reason this child is being taken serious for no apparent reason, except it fits the story.
Badly written, uninspired story, bad pacing, flat characters.
Things are made up from chapter to chapter to develope the story, world building is non existent and to top it all off, the author has the audacity to use a skill tree like used in "path of exile" and makes a complete mess of it.
The world makes no sense, the magic makes no sense, the system no sense.
Dont waste your time reading this, it will NEVER be finished anyway.
