Beyond that, he must grapple with one more important fact.

[Single drop of a different bloodline identified.]

[Race changed from Human (F) to Unawakened Human (F).]

Follow Michael as he unravels the history in his blood, discovering secrets of the Mythical Era, a time long-forgotten, all while he tries his best to ensure the safety of his mother and friends. How far should one go to protect one’s loved ones?

At last, it may be time for the vengeance in his blood to show itself.

Seems pretty good so far. It could focus a bit more on developing characters as the main character only really interacts with a three other characters and I don't think the alternative perspectives do enough to fully fill out the rest of the world. I think the first chapter was surprisingly well done, especially in skipping over the initial class choice and initiation to the tutorial.

A solid story with well delineated characters, an MC with potential for OP and a decent cast of supporting characters. I am about 20 chapters in and want to give my preliminary recommendations.
This is a System Apocalypse Harbingers trope where a game like system has infested the earth but it's being "fair" by selecting a large trial group go undergo a tutorial where they can use the fantasy game classes they've chosen to learn how to survive and protect humanity. At least, that's what it appears to be.
Except for a single glitch of incomplete editing and one single word instance of a linguistic intrusion of Spanish into otherwise perfectly grammatical English, the writing is clean and clear, the conversations are very real and not stupid or forced, and I recommend the story as an example for new writers who are learning how to put together a good story.
I'm invested in the MC and his friends and look forward to finding out whether the story follows the trajectory I would like to see or if it goes wrong in the ways that were foreshadowed in the brief suggestions and hints in the early chapters.

And this is me coming back near the end of the book. The dialogue, the language use, the world building, all continue to be exceptionally good quality.  The narrative... not as much.
I still recommend it, but the character fell out of the stupid tree at some point and hit his head on every stupid-stick branch all the way down. Thus I've reduced my rating from four to 3.5 stars.
The author clearly had an idea of what was supposed to happen and why.  But it didn't work for me.  Our pro-ta-gone-ist gains the flaws of "I alone" and "My Quest Is The Most Important Thing" and it makes for a bit of a slog in the chapters leading to the end. Why he ignored EVERYONE's advice, I cannot say.
If that doesn't bother you, or if you can appreciate the story despite that, because you are OK with a fallible MC being VERY fallible, then this probably won't bug you.  But it bugged me. I hop

Over the course of reading this series, I have really enjoyed the mix of comedy, emotions, and storytelling. It took a while to get to this point in this series but it was well worth the wait. I can’t wait to continue to read this series. To the author, thank you so much for spending your time time to write this.

I love how the story is not a go out and kill and get stronger, instead it is get stronger to protect my loved ones. And the best part is that usually stories like this will have the MC want to be complacent and not embrace what is happening and go for not dying. But in this story his loved ones don’t become a crutch but an inspiration to become as strong as possible and embrace it so he can protect them and thrive! Anyway I highly recommend that you read this, at least for a few chapters, the first chapters are always a little boreing with the mc getting used to things but it quickly gets to the good parts.

I was initially startled by drop into the action but as I continued to read I enjoyed it more and more. I love how skills work in litrpgs especially how they evolve, fuse, and change. I think was done really well. My criticism though is that the importance of skill choices is emphasised but not all the options are shown to the reader. I feel this limits reader engagement as it isolates the reader from the character. I also think if all the options are shown it could lead to the character taking inspiration from their descriptions when creating new skills (I also love the skill creation). I also love the idea of      mana having different forms like healing and destructive. I eagerly anticipate how this will be explored. I feel like the character’s motivations should be further explained beyond just wanting to save his mother (it is definitely a valid reason I just want to know more). The character also shows the ability to develop as is shown in the later chapters as of now which is awesome I love a growing character. Overall, I love the book and keep up the good work 👍
I have made very few reviews so I have no idea if this is helpful but I love the book so far and wanted to show support and express my opinions

    Review of book 1.
It took about 20 chapters to get the story going and luckily my friend didn't let me drop it cause I don't like to read combat of unknown characters. Skill system was interesting from the start which kept the hope on for the character development and story.
Around chapter 70 there was some excellent drama at which point I was already thanking the author in my mind for this very good story. It has a great setting for a good long one. By the end of book 1 the amount of fighting started to feel a bit too much but since the skill system keeps evolving in interesting ways it's still ok to keep your attention on it.
This story can easily get to the top of 5 stars over time like other similar ones have done if the author expands the themes and characters like all the good stories do.

Overall this is a really enjoyable read. Michael is both naive & talented, watching him grow in strength while also coming to terms with his new reality is very interesting. Typical system type apocalypse story but that’s not really a negative. The story does a great job of making you curious about his dragon lineage, what happened between the dragons & gods, does his mother know about his race and what happened to his father? I liked the change in pov with his mother and his friends, it was really cool to see different perspectives & how they all dealt with their circumstances differently.

This story is quite good. Standard story start with enough information given about world and characters, hope it will get better the more chapters we get.
I have few questions about other group of people: why show us them, who they are?
Not a standard MC motivation, can develop in interesting ways.
    Potentially good.
