Description

Choosing a college when your family is struggling can be difficult, but it isn’t supposed to be world ending. And the falling meteor is seriously limiting Matt’s options.

Now in the aftermath, his home city is locked down by a mysterious dome, corporations are looking to monopolize a wealth of new untapped resources, and people are suddenly developing powers via a system that seems to have borderline sinister intentions. In the chaos, he decides to stick to what he knows: stay out of the spotlight, grind, and survive.

Watch as Matt is dragged into a dark LITRPG set in the real world, where the price of failure is death, and the prize for winning is beyond his wildest dreams.

There’s a couple big influences here: Solo-Leveling, Squid Game, and Code Geass. If you enjoy LITRPG stories with morally gray characters, high stakes, and smart protagonists who start weak and eventually become powerful in a unique way, you’ll probably find something to like. But be forewarned. It won’t be easy.

Brilliant start! Curious to are how it goes from here
Strong MC, hope that he doesn't turn in a sociopath and keeps looking for nonstandard solutions.

I was desperately hopelessly hooked on chapter one, and the story has only gotten better and better. Amazing flow to the story and a ton of good action with interesting and well written people. Im in love with this story and i can not wait to see where it all ends up going. There was a hit of a peek behind the curtain too with crowd sourcing possible Users and boy does that get my blood pumpin.

I love this serie. I've listened to it as an audiobook. And its amazing, good story, good author, good reader and over 16 hours of goodness per book.
I find the main character likeable and believable, and the secondary characters different and independent individual enough so that there is a story going on in the background that doesn't always depend on the main character. It just makes the world more realistic. People with their own goal and lives not not just waiting to play a short role and disappear again.
The most compelling thing that really carries through is that there is a basic logic. Who knows what and what, what has to be kept secret, how people react to situations, etc. And ists complicated, i am impressed, that Eligros can keep it in his head xD
The only thing that bothered me a bit in the beginning is that the main character doesn't seems to sleep or rest at all. It's true that there's always something he has to do, but there are no breaks in between. That makes it an exciting book, but I feel very sorry for the main character. Its better in the later books.
Very good as an audiobook. I can't say  about the book but guessing its compelling to read.

This is one of the best novels I have read anywhere including some famous ones.
The plot and writing are unbelievably good, sometimes I stop and think how the author is even able to conceive all this.
The characters for once are exciting to follow and uncover.
This is one of the best novels out their, give it a go you will not regret it. I wish there were more novels out their of this quality.

Great story. Well balanced between reality and RPG. I like the stealth build design of the protagonist. The way the story is designed to keep the hero in the background and not the OP character that is often sourced. The system seems well thought out and I like the merchant system and how they are taking over the economic system to supplant it with their own. Add in actual NPC style quests not just exp per kill and it creates a great dynamic that other stories miss.

Said it in the title, double blind is certainly one of the best novels in the site right now for me, and for a lot of other reader if you see how well it's doing.
Style: the more reviews I do the more I realise how much I don't care about styles, I mean there are still some styles that I don't like, but for the others, long as they are easy to follow and understand I see nothint to pick about them, and that certainly the case here, actually it's better than normal for me so that's a huge plus.
Story: I'm loving it, the part that it is in right now, with the mc in the dungeon, isn't really as interesting as the beginning, but the author has already talked about that and said that dungeons won't be long and that the outside is just as important with specific quests for it, so I'm not that worried and I'm looking forward to that. Also the idea that they are inside a dome or a barrier is interesting I can't wait to see where the author will take things from now.
Grammar: saw nothing wrong with it so that's a five star from me.
Characters: a strong point for the novel for sure, you get an idea for how the mc is from the very first chapter and there is depth to him that gets you invested. And that's not just for him really, the other characters are also just as good and with just as much background to them, the mom, the siblings and even the mc's boss, they are all unique and feel alive, and I'm loving the interaction between them, hopefully we will leave the dungeon soon and see more of them.
Anyway, that's all, the novel really deserves it's high ratings and the attention it's getting, I totally recommend it. And finally a big thank you to the author for their hard work, good luck with the coming chapters and keep up the good work🎉🎉

The story is an urban litrpg, or more accurately, the shadow of one. Beautifully dark, it retains all the core elements of a litrpg while dyeing the entire trope with a gritty shade of life. Yet, with all the darkness present in the story, it manages to not be edgy. 5/5.

When I write, I worry that my narrative is interesting and that my characters are unchallenged. Elios has somehow managed to stretch.... A single week? of in-story time into the most seething, sweating, constant burn of intense tension I have ever had the pleasure of reading on this site.
Yes, the protagonist has a Very Particular Set of Skills, but hey, that's fiction. The world is layered with shades of grey and self-awareness and societal outlooks that turn into a delicious croissant of fluffy claustrophobia - I want Matt to win, and I can't believe he will, because even the standard, 'local neighborhood wins' for another litrpg hero have put him in a wheelchair.
The next time I start a fiction, I am using this as a textbook. There are formulas in here that become as comforting as a chorus, and I need to splice that magic into my stories to be confident that instead of hackneyed prose, I am orbiting closer to the hold your breath razor edge that Double Blind has provided so far.
    Keep on going Matt!

I really hate dumb MC's. This story has a smart one so far. (Chapter 113) I really like a couple of the main side characters as they are not stupid either. Intelligent creative story with a beleivable MC makes it a really fun read. My one criticism is some chapters are just a tad short. Probably just me as I always want more content.

Quality litrpg but most importantly to me the mc is a "edgy protagonist" done right where he has reasons for being the way he is and the characterization is all around just extremely good. 6/5 character score if I could. Definitely rides the line between post apocalyptic/urban fantasy I don't really like how dungeons are in litrpg but luckily dungeons don't really feature all that much.
