Expectations:
- Post-Apoc LitRPG with prog fantasy elements- Hallucinatory system as the story progresses- Weak to strong MC with a mysterious past- Every day objects as weapons (like a vape pen)- Uncommon spells (like Instant Discount Ozempic)- Fast paced story & action pacing- No Harem
Inspired by:
- Squid Games, The 8 Show- Alice in Borderlands (but with monsters!)- Dungeon Crawler Carl, Dawn of the Void, The Primal Hunter- My S-Class Hunters, Solo Leveling- Dark Souls III and Elden Ring

- Myriad2Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this so far, and can't wait to see where it goes! It has great character development and attention to detail! Very interesting premise that caught my attention right away! It's action packed and full of adventure! Great work Harmon! Can't wait for the rest of the story! Thanks!
- AlpineBobRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really enjoying the unique loot and monsters. People around the MC come and go, but his equipment, some of which have prickly or other personalities, seems to hang around a bit more. There are some running gags I like that others might not. There are very occasional typos (maybe one every few chapters), but they aren't an issue. Overall a great read with an understated dark humor.
- Jedi KirotoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Fantastic apocalypse litrpg. Warch out, it'll get you in the feels!
Features a reluctant hero MC with an antagonistic system and doesn't shy away from side character deaths.
The only complaint I have is that I would prefer less raunchy humor and swearing, but this is a personal quirk of mine and not an actual problem with the book as it fits in context. - NukepharmerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love this story so far. Action right out of the gate. There is a mystery to solve and a promise of levels and skills. Can't wait to see where this story goes. What adventures lie ahead in the doom system. Will the doom system turn out to be as helpful as it claims and it was humanity that was the real villain? Or is there something more?
- glenncccRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love the system,
Love the characters,
Love the action,
Love the teddy bear,
Love the flow of the story.
We kick off straight into the action with a whole lot of "hey what's going on" and now we are slowly getting more of the overall storyline. Superbly written with some great main characters, a system that seems to like to mess with people's heads, some very interesting and original loot drops. The post apocalyptic setting is always welcome. A great story so far and at 20+ chapters in all in. - Alina_tgfkeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5My first Apocalyptic Story, and I've been really liking the plot. Charakter development is a bit more on the slow side, but I like the comedy in the story. The system discription need some getting used to, and I usually don't read them all the way, as they on purpose don't make so much sense, and are therefore hard for me to read. I can imagine they are really funny in the audio book version though. I wish though they were a bit shorter, but I like how they incorporate modern day news.
- tussockRoyal Road★★★ 2.5It's a cool story, but I have once again hit my limit for a woman being introduced to a story just enough so she can die to make a man feel sad.
Yes, it's character development for the protagonist, but, three times, already? Just, no. As much as it's a slice of life comedy horror, and death is ever-present, it still stands out.
