UNDERGOING A REWRITE!
After leading one of the top raiding guilds in Altera Online, four friends decide to move their core group to a brand new VR MMO, DomeNET Online. An online world promising unlimited freedom in play style and a chance to influence the world in ways they’ve never seen before.
Carrots, one of the core players, decides he wants a change of pace, so he sets his mind on playing as a Citizen instead of a regular starting class. But when he logs in things don’t go as planned. The game drops him in without character customization, class selection, or even the chance to set his avatar’s name!
After disabling his HUD, Carrots is unable to get it back up and running, so he has to rely on quick thinking and asking plenty of questions as he tries to figure out the game mechanics and how to log out.

The start feels like a buggy beta version of the game. No warning (or forum reports) about "immersive experience"c citizen start, the first NPC he meets and all others are super realistic, but she forgets him randomly and points a gun at his face with a "who are you" on day two shortly before he gets logged out automatically but seems to partially remember him once they get attacked. There's no bug report interface, and he doesn't try to submit one either.
I liked the story up to chapter 13 and even though there was gonna be an interesting bug showing up. Then it feels like the author took acid.
For some reason he doesn't even mention to his friends how weird the experience was compared to other games.
The entire plot drops after that as he logs back in, into a zone hes underleveled for (and the game doesn't acknowledge what was happening before, at all) but hey he has OP weapons he can one shot people with. From there the narrative jumps arround randomly like a yoyo.
TLDR
LIke the original premise, and the start. Completely falls appart at chapter 13.
