The idea is simple: The last hope of humanity is the most annoying man on Earth. Gideon is annoying in a HILARIOUS way though and I am looking forward to his antics. Only two chapters in and it's already clear the leads have a great dynamic between the insufferable Gideon and the long suffering Jet. The grammar and storytelling is always solid with Noct and I'm sure this is going to be another wild ride.

So when can we get a second part to this series. I love reading the book. I want to keep reading their adventures. What happened to Kat. What was her deal. Why didn't Gideon go join magic school. So many questions. It's not 50 words yet. Come on. I want to see more dragons joining the fun with more OP enemies.

Exactly what it says on the tin!
This is a fun little adventure of a man who truly only wants dragons to perish. And yes, he is a pretty annoying person.
Aside from that the jokes are amazing and the plot is actually deeper than the blurb makes it seem.
Only thing that's a bit off for me is that, at least in earlier chapters, it seemed like there was a lot of exposition, especially about magic. But, it was framed in a way that made it feel like a natural conversation, so it didn't get too monotonous. The excellent characterization helped with this.
