This story is pretty unique due to the POV of the main character. There are tons of stories about the fated protagonist in the power hungry world ruled by the gods. This story on the other hand, follows a normal dude who did a lot of good in his past life and who was recommended by the God of his old planet to become the creator God, or Ultima God, of a new planet. The “fated protagonists” are still there, it’s just that they’re footnotes in history as the world develops, which is exactly how it would be to a god. It’s a very cool idea and so far I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the new take. In the beginning, the prose was a little off and it still is every now and then, but that just speaks to a new writer who is continually improving. The MC also occasionally pulls a supposedly rare and difficult ability out of his butt every now and then (he does these things completely on accident) but I do think it is all due to how he became a god, as it’s been hinted a few times that the way the MC does things is very different from the norm. There are very few spelling or grammatical errors from what I’ve seen, and what I have noticed hasn’t detracted from the reading experience at all as they’ve been pretty minor. Overall, it’s a great story so far and the author seems to be improving as we go, so I can’t wait for where it’ll be in the future. Definitely try it out!
