Deus ex Machina: God From the Machine

Description
Humanity’s hubris has doomed Earth. With natural resources at an all time low, the governments of the world were forced to find somewhere where humans could reside. Using experimental warp technology, 10 individuals called the Asylum Seekers were warped to the nearest habitable planet in order to begin the terraforming process. But when Asylum Seeker Evan Vonlichten wakes up, he finds himself in a strange place, one where robed mages bend reality to their will, monsters roam the countryside, and storms of immense power ravage the land. With only his mechanical body, an overly-serious A.I. in his head, and his army of robots, Evan must find a way to survive in this new world, and maybe try to do some good along the way.
This story is a slow burn, but it speeds up as it goes on. The beginning might be a bit weak, but it gets better as I found more of my writing style :)

- Black_33dvm_cccRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As i am fascinated with story concepts combining fantasy and scifi elements this story intrigues me. Also, it combines with elements of Isekai, of which i am also fond of.
By now i am at Chapter "A Friend in Need" and can not wait for how the story continues.
What will happen to the city of Ocaephis?
What awaits the rebel army?
And how will the story unfold for our MCs? - HearthenstoneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm only at the 9th chapter as of now and the story has been pretty interesting. It could go a lot of ways, but i'm hoping for something like a kingdom/base building progression type story. I haven't noticed any issues with the grammar and the way it's written makes it easy to visualize and follow allowing. Overall i'm looking forward to seeing how this story progresses.
- gwhitlockRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This was my first time reading progression fantasy/sci-fi, and I have to say I’m a fan. First-person POV was done well, and the MC’s interaction with the AI added a lot of depth to the MC’s characterization. Also, I loved the tech and the problem solving the MC does throughout. I’ll leave a longer review later. Back to binging!
- Just-a-fucking-weebRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.
I craved the strength and certainty of steel.
I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine.
Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you.
One day the crude biomass you call the temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you.
But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal
Even in another world I serve the Omnissiah
It's a good story overall, but I would suggest slowing down the pace of the story and allowing for more dialogue and character development. For example, in "Supply Drop and preparations", it felt rushed and could have had more resistance. Also, for a supposed malleable machine protagonist, many moments feel too fleshy. - Sergeant SorenRoyal Road★★★ 2.5An honest attempt at an OP isekai with sci-fi elements.
I'm not too much into the novel, but so far it has been...boring. I'm not sure how many words I've read and half-skimmed, but Jesus Christ this feels constrained.
The characters are two dimensional. The 'sarcastic' AI has very little sarcasm, the protagonist feels like a C-tier isekai manga protagonist, aka late teen with the mentality of a primary school student. His reactions feel at least semi-logical and plausible, but with as much detail as your average corporate logo.
The paragraphs are something like a few hundred words each; my man, please for the love of both our eyes cut those in two, three, better even four pieces. Use the Hemingway app to make smaller sentences and paragraphs.
I wanted to read this for the scifi elements, but there's more sciencie-fiction in a VRMMO litrpg, and those are 90% low fantasy themselves.
