I started this series at the request of a friend and, at first, I was a bit skeptical, main character a funeral director? But as I read book one I was drawn in. The main character is not Overpowered, making everything seem trivial. She has problems and sometimes all she can do is wait them out. Other problems she can handle on her own, but she does find allies that help too. I find this to be a well written series(so far!! Where is book3??) and I am eagerly waiting for the next book.
As an aside, I hate/love cliffhangers and there are some waiting...
