Only by having an unwavering resolve could one begin struggling their way up a world...that is quite happy to let war tear it self apart. For the Heavens have ordained that war is needed for cultivation, so who are the mortals to question? It is the Heavens that allow cultivation in the world, and the Heavens that allow ascension to a life worth living. Which mortal could disagree? But what if you don't want what the Heavens give? What happens if you don't wish to live as the Heaven's dictate?

i found this 6 chapters in, and im loving it. The world is well set up with tons of options for the future, the character is very well made, and the grammar is spot on (near as i can tell). I cant wait to see where this goes

After reading eleven chapters I can say with certainty that this story has the potential to contend with other high caliber fictions. The only thing it's missing is content.
The author does a very good job in turning generic wish-fulfillment Xianxia into something with much more depth and character. And boy is there character. The first few chapters alone show us more about the protagonist than 90% of the top fifty fictions in their first thirty.
I genuinely hope this story becomes more recognized.
