- Metablade98Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Gripping tension and well written characters! If you are a fan of visual novels like Danganronpa or death games, this is the series for you! The Author does a wonderful job of giving the reader the traditional visual novel style story, while managing to keep twists and turns abound within this masterful story!
Style - As previously stated, it is written in the format of a visual novel and while it may take a moment to become accustomed to it for the uninitiated, those familiar with this style will feel right at home.
Story - A fantastically grim affair! While a little generic in the first two chapters, it definitely hits its stride by the fourth chapter. Coming into it’s own cruel world and letting it’s sinister plot loose upon the unsuspecting main characters!!!
Grammar - Only a couple of sentences were oddly worded but nothing that will take you out of the story.
Character score - The characters feel human in their despair and reactions to the horrific situation they find themselves in thus adding greatly to the atmosphere and uniqueness of the characters.
Overall it’s an excellent read and without a doubt one of the best death game and visual novel style stories on the site! - WalterGLRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Mafia, as a game, is a lot of fun. A fiction about something that is fun is often, itself, a lot of fun. This is the principle behind sports anime. A fiction about something that is dangerous and exciting is often fun. This is the principle behind war movies and detective novels.
A reasonable conclusion, then, is that a story about real life mafia would be a lot of fun, and it is. If you like Kaiji, or Squid Game, you'll enjoy this story.
