Description

Kieran was getting bored with death. Until he met him.

If you’re up for a different kind of protagonist, then I present to you Death Dealer! Kieran is definitely not what anyone could define as the classic ’hero character’. He’s jaded, tired of it all, and very much bored at the start of the book. With his list of past job titles, it’s hard not to be! In spite of that, the one thing you can’t accuse Kieran of being is a two bit character. He has his driving focus, his motivation: he wants to learn. About death! And he most certainly will. If you like your stories somewhat macabre yet undeniably exciting, this is the book for you.

The MC becomes Death's Champion in this war. This MC is a pure professional that changes through the book and becomes more relatable with the worlds people. This world has a great back drop to how the MC is growing.
There are 9 modern champions and 9 invasion forces, with these invasion forces have been here from the first invasion and some of the previous champions are still alive since the beginning. So there are many champions but they have become jaded to the war that has been raging.

I like the story and the way till now the story moves. Good characters, nice world building. Deduct half a star for protagonist being a little seems OP. Maybe the development/progression can be a bit more fleshed out. It can be done by giving the slight glimpses of his military background, or can show the inner battles and then choosing to do, whatever he decides to do. Otherwise, overall story is excellent.
