- shubertRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This has been a wonderful addition to my library of stories that I enjoy. I've used the advanced review to point out how this story stands out in all the best ways. Simply put, I have not found the writing style wanting in any capacity. I fall into the story with each chapter naturally and I have been enjoying the ride.
There are many different ways that I have seen authors take when DC is the universe. A few of these are in this story but with an interesting reasoning behind them that I can actually get behind. My curiosity grows with each chapter and there truly is no higher compliment I can think of from a reader's perspective.
The characters are actually people with reactions I believe. Thus, I care about each new introduction we are given as readers. I keep thinking about the papers I wrote in college that all had a set goal in mind that I needed to achieve while I read this story. Knowing the overarching goal has allowed a strong foundation for which the story can stand upon and grow from. I look forward to the next chapter!
.... That really was everything I wanted to say but apparently, I'm not long winded enough to have reached the 200-word minimum.
So, fun fact..."I am not who I think I am, I am not who you think I am, I am who I think you think I am." - unknown. An abstract thought process by which be create an image of ourselves based on a false representation of self in how we perceive others' reactions to us. In more digestible terms, we are our own worst enemy when it comes to interactions with those around us. We see disappointments and expectations when there really aren't any. Oftentimes we simply interact with someone whist they are in the process of defragmenting their mental hard drives in real time. - XanatoseRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Ok so I have enjoyed how the story has played out so far. The characters are interesting and the MC isn't an idiot so that's all very positive in my opinion. The story draws you in enough to get you invested in what happens next and keep you there till you run out of chapters and you're left wanting more, in a story what more can you ask for than to be thoroughly entertained.
