- BrightsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Solid premise done well, takes the core genre in an interesting direction. Rather than remaining in the traditional "I'm here now what the hell do I do" mould, this story makes it plain there's a hell of a lot mair going on under the surface. This makes for a refreshing change of pace over the usual offerings.
- QueenInRagsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall, what we have here folks Is a good dungeon story. In other words " It's got some meat on it ! ". Here we got some swamp, lizards, and plants.
Overall the author presents a wonderful and varied world based on Norse Mythology. The world feels real because the characters show and not tell about the setting. The strong fantasy Norse background feels baked into the core of the story itself without being extra exposition layered on. Character wise the story is well developed with multiple parties having multiple conflicting objectives, loveable creatures, and a extrodinarily well written dungeon core. Grammar is imppecable, although when I read it some spacing in the first chapter was a bit odd.
Personally I have no big critiques for this fiction from the beginning to where I read it. Overall this story feels like it has been written by an actual accomplished author.
Personally this story had a great mix of wholesome, scary, intense, and comedy, just what makes the perfect dungeon core story while avoiding all the pitfalls that make a bad one. Though this may not be your cup of tea if you prefer a darker fiction, for thr average reader this story is better than a crisply baked apple pie. Good job author, very enjoyable. - ZengarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Norse Mythology, Dungeoncore Tropes, and Lovecraftian Nightmares. An odd mix, and one that probably wouldn't work if it was just tossed together. The author took the time to think about how these elements work and interact with eachother, however, and that makes all the difference. I do almost want to take a point off for the "godly entity tosses you into a new situation with no explanation" trope. But that's just a personal gripe and it's looking like there may actually be a reason for it this time.
Mind the horror tag if you are succeptible, though. It's actually earned, unlike some stories I've read. It's not the sole focus of the story, but it's there. - schlesiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0In the first couple of chapter i was uncertain . They were ok but not great ( 4 stars ).
But after that it starts to get really good . And now i am hooked . And am waiting for the next chapter .
What i like the most is that the mc has to finde way around problems and isn t just handet the answer in chapter.
