Cat: I’m not a cat. I’m a spirit in the form of a cat!

Interviewer: Sure~

Interviewer: So how is live in this new world?

Cat: I live here for many years now, so I’m used to it already. But it’s really incredible, I can laze around all day!

Interviewer: You sure aren’t a cat?

Cat: *sigh*

Cat: Why am I even doing this? Who are you anyway?

Interviewer: *ahem* Thanks for the interview, but our time is up, so I have to go. Bye!

Cat: H-Hey! Why are you running away?!

Cat: *sigh*

Cat: Whatever, let’s go back to sleep…

This story was really good nice slice of life I read the whole thing In one sitting it is ashamed it hasn’t been updated since 2024. This story has great potential and I which it would continue. Story premise Spirit in shape of cat is mistaken as a regular cat. The spirit has come to love the people and houses that feed and provide him a place to sleep and solves problem (mysteries) for the town and bakers he cares for even secretly warning guards or killing monsters. Cat reminds me of Salem from Sabrina teenage witch talking cat doing funny shenanigans.

If you ever do decide to come back to this story I will be waiting and would like more chapters of the cat spirit helping the people in the village before he leaves with the elf.
