This story is very captivating. It is mostly about loss of humanity and potentially even the human spirit. It delves into philosophy and spirituality which it handles with some severity. It seems to be moving more into its second rising action as Alpha is being exposed into ordinary human life, and I'll be watching it with great intensity.
    STORY
The story is a very intriguing one. It is a bit philosophical and subtly spiritual. I think this tackles a lot about the sanctity and resilience of the human soul. This is the jam I like. This is the jam that is unfortunately a little scarce.
While the fulcrum of the robot rebellion is a bit illogical and nebulous, but darn it, it is in theme. THE INDOMINABLE HUMAN SPIRIT IS A HELL OF A DRUG. Though, now that I think of it, this coincidentally also treads into similar territories as some FNAF stories with souls trapped in the machine, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I like how original it is. I am ignoring the fact that the author directly referenced protogen as the robot's appearance (it feels... I don't know, unnecessary).
Upon even further thought, this story is technically a post-transformation fic that completely skips the transformation part, a very rare breed of story. This story does not dwell on the mechanics and process of the transformation, but instead focuses on the consequences, implications, and future potential of said transformation. It has a tinge of hubris, playing god, and AI rebellion, a standard fair in a lot of robo-centric sci-fi.
    CHARACTERS:
As far as I can tell, there are two main characters: Alpha and Marcus. Alpha is quite human. The robot characters are mysterious and primitive. The robo-centric chapters are a lot about their broken human spirits struggling against their ironclad shackles of code. It is quite interesting to see them hope and despair, love and mourn.
On the other hand, the science team overseeing the robots are just about as interesting as the robots themselves. The robots c

Super cool concept that makes you want to know what happens next.
Unfortunately for me a lot of chapters are repetitive filler. Instead of short repetitive chapters, I feel longer chapters with shifts in perspective would be better.
Overall, definitely check it out and see if you are fine with the flow
