Earth had once been lost by the actions of the Chronos Herald.

Never again.

Markus Reeves-an old professional competitive MMO gamer-received an email from Reality Interactive to beta test their flagship game, but unaware of what was truly happening behind the scenes. Upon logging into the gameworld of Valtir for the first time, Markus receives his first quest of the main storyline.

At first, he pays it no mind while continuing to grind experience points, but everything changes once he realizes that he can’t log out-stuck within the game. Unable to log out, he is forced to go through Hell itself in order to find his way back to Earth.

Thus begins the legend of the Cruxborne.

Cruxborne Legendsis a Royal Road exclusive story set in the multiverse/universe of theLord of Creationseries and can be read independently of the main series. This series will feature a Anti-Hero protagonist, LGBTQ+ characters (and interactions), explicit content (skippable through spoilers in the chapters), and various story arcs pertaining to progression and potential escape/logging out of a digital world.
