Decent story.
The bad:
The attack on the village makes the villagers sound dumb.
The military, especially the commander, comes across as stupid, evil, and obstructive.
The good:
Grammar and spelling are very good.
Plot and worldbuilding are solid.
The main lead male and the main lead female are interesting enough to keep my attention.
The weird:
This story was on RR earlier. At least I think I read it on RR. It only had maybe 10 chapters at the time. In any case, it's odd that the old version was removed instead of just labeled as a previous version. To anyone who is wondering, the story is, from what I can remember, literally word-for-word except that the female came from a spaceship instead of a different part of the same planet. I'm mentioning that this is weird because having her change to space traveler didn't affect the story at all, good or bad.
