- ThegreatmrsinnerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Hello there I've been reading this story for awhile now and was so excited when I first found it I'm a big fan of god type genres where the Mc is a god and has to make world expand influence and so on and so forth
so far I've gotten almost everything I've wanted out of this book a main character building up his world watching from afar with intervention when needed, Our main character is just learning on how to build a world along with the rest of us,even though world building for humans has been accseable for years our main characters parents are extremely against it for some unknown reason.
im finding this story enjoyable and something to look forward to I hope u will as well - Flame Mc FireRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I started reading this novel and I need to say it's actually pretty interesting.
The premise is new and refreshing, but most importantly it has a lot of potential. Right now there aren't a lot of chapters, but the release pace seems pretty stable so I would definitively continue reading this, as I think it would only get better and better went the autor has more time to do more worldbuilding.
The grammar by far is good (at least I didn't spot any fatal mistake). The style right now is a little bit simple but in the last chapters is getting a little more complex so I think that it would get better little by little as the author find his own style. For the characters by far we didn't see a lot as the chapters are not very long, but I hope we will see more dept as the novel continues.
In summary, the novel right now is good but short and it has a lot of potential. Is it a 5/5 novel right now? Probably not, but mainly because we haven't see a lot so we can only see a little piece of the full picture. For now, I gonna give it a full score, not for the novel it is right now but because of the novel it's gonna be in 50,100 or 200 chapters. - GunstolfoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is an update of an older review now that the first arc ended.
Really like the idea behind the power of the people of this world and what they did with it, if it happened in the real world of course it would be monetized and different organizations would be created around that power.
Presenting the MC on the toilet is well... interesting and it appears it wasn't a one time thing.
I kinda like that when he makes changes to the world we can see the changes from the point of view of the inhabitants of the world and it's consequences.
Now that the battle between worlds is starting, we are starting to see some of the different types of worlds popping up (like mech centered worlds, dinosaurs and all that shit).
The world of the MC is a cultivation world and we can see how the cultivation journey begins in it.
I want to see how the cultivators will adapt to the different worlds and all those match ups.
There is some hints in of what is going to happen next in the story and I for one can't wait for it.
No problem in the grammar department. - AstramoRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I came for world-creation, and expected more of it.
The side story arcs are too long for me. While I do like them, 5+ chapters for it is too much, I think. I expected a much more past faced and more focused on world-creation type story from the title.
I'm still going to read it, because the story is great. I'm just going to wait for chapters to pile up. - ShadowesorRoyal Road★★★ 3.0It's a really interesting premise and so far the story has some good progresion. And only a couple problems that have been slowly been improving the more is written.
There is sometimes issues where there is too much telling and spotty showing. It's most apperent during conversations You'll have characters talking as if they have no body, no mention of facial exprssions or body movements.
There is also occasional awkward phrasing. it reminds me of when you try to say something but the words come out in the wrong order. It can still make sense but it takes a second for the reader to rearrange the words.
But in the end I really enjoyed reading this story and I think other people will enjoy it as well. - dada11dada22Royal Road★ 1.0It's mildly interesting, but I couldn't get past the discongrity of the primitive tribes language, using words like "game changer"and other colloquialisms, as well as other terms that are out of place.
This is seems to be an early work, so just keep practicing, hire an editor, go to writers workshops. - luminariumRoyal Road★ 0.5Character:
Characters (their goals, motivations, background, limitations) are underdeveloped. The bait-and-switch from following one MC (the world creator) to another (one within the world) is jarring and makes it hard for the reader to relate to the second MC. The fact that the second MC is in a world which the first MC can change on a whim also makes readers care less about the second MC (if the first MC can change the world of the second MC at a whim, why does anything in the second MC's story even matter?). Things happen to the second MC before we even get to learn much about the second MC.
Story:
The story has an interesting premise, however the execution leaves much to be desired. If anything, it would have been better for the MC to go into the world of his own making to experience it, and then be able to make adjustments. I would have liked to read about a person who creates what they think is a great world, enters it and sees how completely wrong they are about it, modifies their world in real time in an attempt to make it better, only for their changes to mess up the world even more with unintended consequences, rinse and repeat. Worldbuilding is lacking (nearly nonexistent), descriptions are too sparse. This makes for really un-immersive storytelling.
Style:
There is far too much telling instead of showing. The entire prologue suffers from this. The way the story is written, means the things that happen in the story don't have any weight / significance behind them. There's no humor, no aura of mystery, no intrigue.
Grammar:
Seems to be a good bit of putting punctuation in the wrong place. Otherwise it's fine, and doesn't impact readability.
