- skyfallRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story is ecxellent with lot of potential. Mc crashes in fantasy world with spaceship and in order to repair it has to search for materials.
- Baka CaptainRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0(Might contain spoiler)
Character wise, I like it. I mean, I can sympathize with the protagonist. I can feel how he is an ordinary guy. Because he is really ordinary.
He is somewhat wicked, because I think he likes cute character so much that he makes it as his avatar in VR. I think that is pretty wicked. But I guess that is what VR can bring to you, it gives you more opportunities to become something you can only imagine.
However, I cannot see the character as a man. I mean, he is a man inside, right? But as far as I know, I mean until chapter 10, he can also be written as lesbian girl who loves other women, and there would no different, right? Since there is not really any action or consequences that he is actually a man. You cannot justify him drinking is a characteristic of a man. I mean, girls do that too, okay? So, I guess that is what I want to see more. I want to see more of him, in real life, which actually live in the story or at least affect the story. Because the way I see it, it is more like the story of how an avatar get to live. Not how a man from real life get stuck into an avatar.
If I were him, I would get panicked. I mean, the time in virtual reality is 4 times faster than in real life, right? So there should be a time limit for him, in order to get back into his body.
But… the story is a bit confusing too. I mean, the whole virtual reality suddenly came to life. Could it be the actual effect of the VR updates? I mean, could it actually be the avatar thinks she is living but it is just in offline mode and the real player is not log in? So that is why there is no log out button. But I do not know. I really want to see how the story ends. But then again, I do not want to see it too soon. Since it is a really good story for me.
I love the world building. I love how you describe the place he lives in real world, the ship she owns, the city, the mountain, everything is conveyed so well that I can actually imagine the places in my head.
I love the chara - UltrabenosaurusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The title says it all, really. I know this guy, he’s pretty great, so when I saw he put his first work on RRL I figured I’d drop it 5* without reading it or anything like loads of people do for long-time popular authors. Now that I’ve actually read all 3 prologues + 7 chapters Xac has written on Google Drive so far I’m confident that 5* is the correct rating for this fic.
- amassieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is easily one of the best stories on the site. The story and pacing are greate. The characters all have quite a bit of depth. it's just great. I'm not sure if the author will ever read this since the story hasn't been updated in quite a while but you have an amzing talent!
- AseloRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Good Story! I want to know what happens next...I need like 500 more chapters XD.
- Meanderingmarmot0Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ah I binge-read this and didnt realize it had been abandoned/on hiatus. But I have to say it is a really really good read despite that. I hope you are doing well xacul and that maybe your muse will strike you again. You, sir, have a true talent for writing and storytelling.
- Smeek326Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I loved this story. I only wish that the author would continue where he/she/they stopped.
- LucisRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The title say it all
But i would like to know what the stats mean, speacially the PSI - admiraRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0(As of chapter 6)
This story hooked me in the first part of the prologue--I'm not joking. I love stories with 1st person narration because of the amount of immersion they offer. And while the character of Seri has her own flaws, I wasn't rudely jolted out of the story by details or actions that contradicted my common sense (or at least, my understanding of the world's logical progression).
The writing style was a treat and I really like the character of Seri so far. I look forward to seeing how she grows as she faces the troubles to come.
One thing that really stood out to me was the fact that the female characters so far actually existed as characters, just like the male characters--and by that, I mean that they didn't obviously exist solely for sexual gratification. I don't expect every single female character to be well fleshed-out; minor characters are minor characters. But as small of a detail as it seems, it's a huge plus in my book to see a character and not instantly think, "Oh, another cardboard cutout harem member."
I'd recommend this to female readers as well as male readers--and that's not something I say often when it comes to webnovels. So far, there's nothing obviously offensive to female readers as a whole. Hopefully, it'll stay that way. - Old_ManRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Frankly it feels like 2/3rds of each chapter is cringe-inducingely trite.
There is an excess of verbal exchanges between the two main characters about each of their anxieties. These conversations are often quite chapter-filling and predictable. Personally, I would vastly prefer a summary of each of their concerns and resolutions.
The MC is inane, as one might expect from a 'fluffy' transgender tale. I was especially hoping for the opposite. The fact that it suffers from this stereotypical transgender problem is contrary to one of the reviews, which implored us not to expect typical transgender story issues. I was very disappointed with this fact. So be warned, readers.
Strong elements of meek sentimentality definitely plauge this story.
There is a LitRPG system, but its function is vague. The status screen is not regularly referenced. Despite running out of Psi quite a few times, there has only been one reference so far (as of chapter 30) about any serious wish to raise attributes, and that enthusiasm didn't occur in reaction to having run out of resources. Disappointingly Un-serious MC.
In parallel, the MC inanely traverses the story without being adequately serious about learning how to defend against these new powers.
It's disappointing.
