Thought I was losing my mind when flipping through villainous lead stories only to stumble over another villainous Sasuke eldritch story. Can't believe someone tried to get it taken down and partially succeeded.
This is a fantastic, bizarre, and darkly realistic retelling of Naruto, through the gaze of what is essentially a Lovecraftian deity born into the vessel of Sasuke. Ironically, the focus isn't on the fundamentally overpowered nature of its existence, but rather the results of a greater mind utilizing the methods and resources of the world to perfection. There is some additional eldritch spice, but Sasuke is primarily a being of leverage rather than force, a brilliant manipulator, tactical genius, and prodigy of Chi usage. A scalpel rather than a wrecking ball.
The conflicts and political maneuvering are cleanly handled, the world makes sense, and somehow, the eldritch horror makes for a surprisingly understandable protagonist. The political environment has a realism and depth I've rarely seen in stories, let alone a Naruto fanfic, and it's such a pleasure to see Sasuke act as both gifted individual and actual nobility.
I often make concessions when finding villainous protagonists to enjoy, but this is one of the rare few where the story is exceptional and simply happens to fall into the underappreciated genre I love. Strongly recommend it, whether a Naruto fan or not.

I expected it to be good based on other reviews, but it just blew me away. Correct usage of grammar, an illustrious bouquet of vocabulary, detailed and nicely paced chapters. Its too good. i never knew that cartoonish narutoverse can translate to such thought out and believable story. kudos to the author for his effort and story. Don't believe me, just read it and experience yourself.

Great story, great writing and a very interesting take on Naruto. One thing to note is that "Sasuke" is literally, LITERALLY, a monster in human skin, so judging 'it' by human standards isn't fair. A nice spotlight is shined on the underrepresented parts of the universe, genjutsu, sealing arts, encryption, stealth, and poisons. These contribute to make "Sasuke" less of a explosive powerhouse like we see in your standard Naruto fanfic (though he is capable of it) and more of a lethal and manipulative force acting just out of your reach and perception. I highly recommend reading this if you're looking for a little bit of spy thriller vibe with some espionage and intrigue sprinkled into your "Ninja world".

I especialy like the eldrich horror aspec, it provides a belivable reason for Sasuke strength compared with is canon self,
the overall direction of the story seems to be going into the kingdom building genre which i love, i would like to see more therapy like development since it`s pretty obvious that Sasuke is doing well, probably best to leave it to after killing itachi.

The writing style is absolutely spectacular. The character is fascinating to read, and the action is well described. The one thing I should warn people of, is that you do, in fact, need to know the lore that is Naruto. fairly well, even.
But if you fulfill that requirement... You should definitely read this.

This is one of the fan fic's that made me realize, a fan fic can actually be good. While there are some points to the story that could be better, I will let those go because the overall story was great. The writing and grammar are good. The story was a great take on something I enjoy. Honestly I just wish there was more to read. I might go check out the authors other stories.

I don't know if it's the inner NPC inside me speaking but the first half of the of the first chapter of this fanfic is absolutely pretentious. Not really important, but a fair warning to new readers. The plot starts deviating from canon very early and we get a story of an eldritch horror isekaid into Sasuke's body at birth before being set on a quest for vengeance after the Uchiha massacre. There is a comfortable amount dialogue. The prose feels weird. impersonal due to the MC's nature. The use of We, instead of I or He definitely threw me off until I realised what the author was hinting at and absolutely loved it.
I enjoyed it enough to give it 5 stars. Mc is well fleshed out, so is everyone else. Prose is good. Grammar is good. Style is quite fun. Fight scenes are explosive and very descriptive, so fun to read. The first mangekyo ability we are shown is just bonkers. The storyline is wayyyyy of from canon, which I respect and enjoy because of how fresh it is.
So in summary, it's a well-done fanfic basically borrowing the world and disregarding the plot.

Better than the 99.9 % of other fanfictions , Sasuke here is just a creature out of this world and sealed in Sasuke's body he had only the same powers like OG Sasuke but developed them to level max and had the same emotions against Konoha and Itachi , so also will do everything to see Konoha falls

Looking at the ratings, I guess I'm either in the minority or the author gets non 5-star reviews removed, either way, here it goes.
The dialogue is a bit too pretentious at the start for my liking.
The main character doesn't remind me of an eldritch being (or beings). It just seems like a talented psychopath could have done it's job. And even that guy might have done a better job, since he wouldn't have cared about his clan members like this supposed "eldritch" being does.
Another thing is Danzo using edo tensei. I don't think he ever used it in the story. I don't think he can use it. Otherwise, why even have root members?
Overall, I felt it underdelivered on one of the main points it uses to attract readers.
