- RznRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The first story "Solitude" is a little awkward, but is good. It gets better with Shifting, capturing the mood and the explanation comes at the end. The final, The Devil's Laughter, is a bit disturbing and is arguably the best of the tree. Yes, it does have that gory note for good reason, but it is not just for shock purposes. All three are solid entries and makes sense as to why they would be contest winners.
