First and foremost I gotta say that this is amazing.
As a fan of tales about monsters/evolutions I have read way too many of them, and I can say confidently, that Coffee & Slime has one of the best set up.
The story is just amazing, the backstory is so interesting that even if it's an info-dump I actually read it!
To be honest the grammar has no real flaws, there are some, of course, but almost imperceptible, what tickles me is having emojis or smileys on a text, that is something I dislike, but it's a personal preference and it isn't actually "loaded" just a few faces each 4-5 chapters, nothing to worry about.
The characters are actually amazing and well-thought, each has it's own personality and I can feel the love and care the author puts 'em on, still, as a "soul transmigration" the MC has a common personality, nothing really original on him, he's funny thought. Coffee best character <3
Overall this is a really well made fiction and the fans of things such as re:monster, The Daily Diary of a Mushroom and things like these will absolutely love this work. Really.

It's a readable story, but by chapter 15 i just didn't want to continue. I don't know why, it just is.  The start was very cute and innocent, and as stories go there is usually a big change.  It wasn't the magic stuff, the plot had a lot of zany randomness to it which is sometimes fun.  Maybe it was the blatent copy blend of another mimic story.  Either way for me, the story became lackluster, and i can't understand why.
