Code Worlds —The Resurgence After the Fall—

Based on the 2015 Japanese multimedia project, Qualidea Code, and the Honkai franchise

On 21 December, 2012, the world collapsed. In a global event codified as the "Fall," interdimensional beings referred to asHonkai(法晦,Hōkai) began invading Earth with "ground zero" being huge swaths of land centered around East Asia, hence the chosen name for the invaders. Led by the young genius Dr. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a team of scientists perfected the technology of «Cold Sleep» through reverse-engineering of the Honkai and disseminated it throughout the world in late 2013; the world collectively decided to send all children—anyone under the age of seventeen—to sleep, preserving them for the future.

Over fifty years later starting in 2064, Japanese children were aroused from sleep and it was swiftly discovered that they had gained supernatural abilities—given the nameQualidea—which were exceptionally effective against the Honkai. Left with no choice, the South Kanto Defense Liaison Conference employs the children—known asArbiters—in the war against the Honkai, educating them in three specially-constructed institutions centered in the three cities forming a defensive triangle around the head of Tokyo Bay, Chiba, Tokyo, and Yokohama.This story centers aroundSonoka Tenkawa, the young head student representative of Tokyo Preparatory Academy and theHerrscher of Time—a title granted to her as the sole wielder of a time-type Qualidea, as she fights to save the world.
