Description

Elizabeth always chose to play as a sneaky rogue or a wizard slinging sparkly spells. She enjoyed elegance, strategy, and staying out of the reach of tooth, claw and sword. Now all she's got is a class she hates and a stupid club to defend herself in a world with murderous rodents, intelligent wolves, and horses she can't ride. The pain is too real and the fights brutal. But the game's cruellest feature is its core mechanic. It's a flippinroguelike. Death is a brutal reset, stripping her of everything she's earned and forcing her to start over, armed with nothing but the bitter memories of her last failure. To survive, she'll have to get stronger, smarter, and meaner with every loop. With the help of a companion the system never intended for her to have, she must turn to her newfound friends and embrace the role she never wanted to solve how she ended up in the game and to save her very existence. 🪓 Gallows humour 🩸Some gore 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Multi-dimensional characters (this includes queer people existing) 🐁 Vicious rodents of unusual size ⛏️ Slow, grindy but satisfying growth 🐾 An adorable companion 🧩A few puzzles and quests that use brain over brawn ⏳ Real-world stakes New chapters:TBD

This is such an interesting take within it's genre with the rougelike element and I'm really enjoying following the story. (particularly as a lover of rougelike games this extra appealed to me!). I am a few chapters deep and there have been a good few mysteries/questions brought to my attention that I feel invested in finding out the answer to.
The descriptions, dialogue and integration of the system announcements flow well with each other. I also find it very enjoyable how we discover things along with Elizabeth rather than get spoonfed details.
The grammar is great. I've seen no problems so far. I can see previous comments suggesting edits (I'm reading chapters a while after they were released) and can see the author is quick and responsive to make any changes picked up on. I'm confident as I continue reading not only the story is going but the writing high quality.
The main character Elizabeth so far is great. She is hilarious and sarcastic and I expect to enjoy a lot of dark humor as the story progresses, which is right up my street.
I highly recommend anyone considering giving the story ago to do it, you won't be disappointed. Be warned though, a few chapters in and you will get hooked.

This has been a very fun read. I've enjoyed the writing tremendously. It's a twist on the time loop type stories in a very interesting way. I really like the way there are multiple threads to follow. Stories within the story and the way it's designed the stories can go anywhere all while you're slowly learning what has caused this to happen to our favorite barbarian. Can't wait to read more and find out what happens next.

Great humor. A heroine dealing with life inside a game and sweat in uncomfortable places, while figuring out what’s going on.
Well written and grand you from the start. I love how she deals with the world, how she bends it, just a bit, to her desires, and how it sometimes punches back!

This is one of those LitRPG books where the character gets trapped inside of a game. However, that is where the similarities to many in the genre come to an end. The author has chosen to take a fresh approach, blending familiar mechanics with unique twists that make the story stand out.
The main character is a firecracker of energy—full of personality, charm, and relatability. Unlike many protagonists who can feel bland or one-note, this MC radiates life and carries the story with a balance of humor and determination. The looping mechanic, where the character restarts after each death, works brilliantly. It gives the story a rhythm reminiscent of extraction shooters, where every risk feels weighty because death costs you your hard-earned progress. This creates tension without feeling punishing, and it makes victories feel genuinely satisfying.
The tone is another strong point. It strikes a careful balance, using humor in moderation so the story never feels like parody, while still keeping moments light enough to offset the darker consequences of failure. The pacing is smooth, and each chapter flows naturally, leaving you eager to read the next.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed catching up with this series and watching it develop. If you’re in between releases from your favorite authors, or simply want something engaging, witty, and fresh in the LitRPG space, this may just become your next favorite.

Fantastic read, thank you. I appreciate the troubled perspective of someone who loves their doggo a bit too much and is slowly changing/ being changed.
Good spelling and grammar with occasional mistakes, very well paced story. Thank you for the lovely story.
Sorry follows a mysterious person waking in a virtual world that doesn't know if she's a player or a person.

Im looking forward to the story continuing. I've really enjoyed the humor so far. I also really like the hints of dark existential dread laced into the writing. Great job so far!(This is my first review on this site, so sorry if it doesn't follow the expected review format)

They say there is nothing new under the sun but some things manage a fresh take. Elizabeth and her dog are just trying to survive in a brutal roguelike game. It is unusual to read a book where the main character can die.
You would think the loops get boring but the author does a good job (so far) of keeping the pace up even when Elizabeth has to start over.
I love books with animal companions. Dekka is amazing and kind of unique. When I read the part where she summons her, I cried big, sad tears as I've just lost a similar heart companion. I do wish Elizabeth could get a mount. I would love to see her and Dekka with a horse. But then I want more horses in stories in general.
A few people have mentioned the grammar issues. The chapters are a bit hit or miss on that front. The author did mentions something about vision issues so hopefully the quality of that improves. It did not detract from my reading experience.
The story itself is great. It is more than just your typical progression fantasy where numbers go up. There are some real moments in there. But in a good way. Loving the journey and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Click Yes to Continue is positioned as a timeloop (roguelike) VR LitRPG. I generally prefer my stories to have long-lasting consequences and be set in 'real' worlds. It does, however, feature a Fighter protagonist. And as a Fighter enthusiast I gave it a shot anyway. From the very first pages one thing becomes clear – the author here knows how to string an enticing and evocative sentence together. Without going overboard on descriptions, we're given these little snippets and details that immediately spark the imagination with a clear and vivid picture.Because of that, it can be jarring just how rough some parts of the text can get on a technical level. There are typos, missed instances of punctuation, tense confusion, and worst of all some issue with paragraph break where occasionally the spaces between paragraphs disappear and sometimes, a new paragraph starts after the first word in a sentence. It's far from unreadable but it can take you out of the story. The story itself follows a young woman called Elizabeth who finds herself inside a video game. She's aware of her situation but is hazy on the details. And even those things about it that she knows, she's hesitant to reveal to us, the readers. This creates what I believe to be an unintended effect, where the story revolves around Elizabeth's attempts to make her way through the game without dying, but you can't help but wonder more about the nature of her situation. Who is she? Why is she in the game? Why can't she leave it? How does she know it's a game? The rare snippets of Elizabeth's pre-game days only add to this confusion. At times it seems she comes from a futuristic world. At others from our own. But then it becomes even more unclear how a game you get stuck in figures into all of this.Outside of these questions, Elizabeth's adventures strand her in a world where she has to pick a class, and once she does she has to stick with it while the world around her resets every time she dies. The class she gets is

Not the usual fiction I read, but I really enjoyed this and can’t wait for more. The characters each have distinct voices and personalities that stand out. A wonderful balance of humor, tension, and unexpected twists kept me hooked. Waiting for single chapters to drop is maddening, addictive, and wonderfully thrilling.😝

Click Yes to Continueis a refreshing take on the LitRPG genre. Elizabeth, the main character, is thrown into a brutal roguelike game world where death means starting over—and it’s as painful as it sounds. But what makes this story shine is the mix of dark humor, clever writing, and a cast of quirky, memorable characters. The pacing is tight, the stakes feel real, and the emotional beats hit harder than expected. If you like stories that make you laugh while keeping you on edge, this one’s a great pick.P.SDa best line I've FOUNDShe licked him.He jerked back. “Ittastedme!!”
