Description
Based on my work on Saga of the Jewels, I have been hired by an indie game developer to write the novel for their 'novel + turn-based battles' game on Steam.
Of course, a 'novel + turn based battles' is a terrible idea for a game, which is why no other games like this exist, but hey, the developer is paying me.
And if something's worth doing at all, it's worth doing as well as possible, so I am going to give this project my very best shot and try to make it as good as it can be.
So if you read this, please give me feedback on the story to help me make it as good as it can be!
Please note, for this story I have been given a pre-existent set of characters, character back-story sketches and a rough plot to work with. I also have to insert random battles into the narrative, have set characters appear in a certain order, and have the party fight fixed bosses in a certain order, all at fixed points!
Please also note that this is a first draft.I will be editing and re-working this in the future and re-posting it. But I need helpful feedback, if anyone can give it.

- Yodeling PicklesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well I liked it. It was a little bit rough around the edges and I thought it went a little bit fast in some places but I had fun reading it and imagining it as a game.
I really loved that people kept joining. Honestly I though that was the best part of the whole thing. And I think if you read this you really have to do it in one go, because I didn't and forgot a whole character. I mean I remembered eventually through context clues so that was okay, but I really thought for a moment that another person had joined when I wasn't paying attention. And also since the author was working with someone else's stuff I can also say that their corrections and requests were perfectly reasonable and should be taken into account. I also imagine that it's tough to make game material interesting as a story so I was happy to read all of it. Good work!
The game itself confused me and I thought it might be difficult to use all the characters that were available.
