Long ago, a mythical figure forged paths from realm to realm and advanced civilization to heights undreamed, built on the foundations of technology, science, and a mysterious aberrant power only a fraction were born to wield. I normally don't give any writing of a  book I've read such high ratings, but this story" Chaos Slinger" is in my opinion very well written. The style score is a well written with a unique style story. I honestly think at times that when I was reading that i was actually watching a movie.  The story score is unbelievable. There is so much detail in chapter after chapter the story was lit up like I dont know what. It all fit together like a glove. The grammer score seems to me to be great. I'm not much with grammer but this story never seemed to be in need of correction. The character score it is beyond words to me because it is great. I'm serious. Good job. Always defineing the characters to the point I actually thought i was in story. I could see in my mind what was going on. That is hard to do. The overall story so far has me excited to the point I can't wait for next chapter to be posted. This story has you up and reading .  i seriously wish I could've read this story from beginning to end.. You know what I mean? It's that good😁

I’m giving this five of five stars without reservation or hesitation because it is some of the best fiction I have read in a long time, taking a place in my heart with Tolkien, Orson Scott Card, and the like.
Chaos Slinger is solid and entertaining storytelling, with often just plain fun banter and dialogue-driven scenes as well as action-packed and exhilarating scenes that literally left me breathless and my heart racing.
The plot-construction is meticulous, yet so well-written as to flow right by in the movement of the story.  Well-paced and detailed world-building throughout adds skillfully to the characterization and plot. The action sequences are well-crafted, clear, concise, and fast-paced, yet somehow managing to also introduce new story elements, seed clues to mysteries, develop characters, and further overall long-term plot.
The setting is captivating in its forlorn beauty, ominous melancholy, sobering severity and has such astonishing visuals that I truly long for seeing this work produced one day in film.
There is even a special short-term fun in that each chapter title is a bit of a mini-mystery that is revealed by the chapter’s end.
Quite unique to this story is the use of foreign/alien languages. This adds a delightful and additional element of immediacy to the tale which is already engaging on all levels. The story-telling is completely absorbing, providing effective emotional and relational connection with the individuals and the people-groups, allowing the reader to truly inhabit the story and live through the tender moments, harrowing ordeals, and reality-shifting challenges facing the characters.
There are relationally rich and beautiful family and tribal dynamics with characters both tough and tender who become like family. The full cast of characters ranges from delightful to loathsome, dangerous and awe-inspiring. Some carry history and mystery that may or may not be immediately revealed! There are heart-rending moments; also times of awe, frus

Style : The moment I opened the first chapter and saw the "Note on language", I felt as if the author was overdoing it. It is a serialized web fiction on RR, not a work of Tolkien. After reading through four chapters, I can say for certain that the author is not overdoing it. He has set out to build a rich and epic world, and has done so with intricacy and care, and the style of writing and the tone of narrations heavily compliments the feeling of otherworldly storytelling. I don't know how else to explain it, but when the story is being narrated, the dialogues, the thoughts, everything flows in a way that immerses the reader into a different world with its own customs, history and society. In short, the style is appropriate for the story and excellent in quality.
Story : I kind of crossed the boundary into the story in the previous point, so I'll continue from there. As I had said, the author has taken on the ambitious task of creating a world with its own customs, history, society, and even geography. And over the 4 long chapters (5000+ words each), he has made excellent progress with worldbuilding, all the while advancing a central storyline that could somehow be described as coming of age of our MC, a blessed hunter who has not been able to do anything remarkable and is only known as the son of his father. Over the passage of the four chapters, we see the death of a Bluehands trader, which sets a series of events in motion that makes us familiar with the socio-political environment of the region, including the alliances and the unfriendly tribes. From there, we get to meet the character's love interest and parents and get sucked into an adventure as the MC joins a party that sets out to investigate this mysterious death. 20,000 words is a lot to set up a premise, but with the grand scale on which this book is written, that is what has happened.
Grammar : The spelling and grammar are largely flawless, my only gripe is that the punctuation on some of the longer se

This story has epic vibes---as in, it feels like it and its world are set on a larger scale. The language is sweeping and grand with flowing sentences that really give you the feel of the fantasy genre. Anyone who can appreciate that type of writing will be very much at home here. The story is epic too---the characters are larger-than-life and you get kind of swept in and want to follow along the journey with them. …Also, I don’t know why I want to mention it here, but the chapter headings are very appealing to the eye---looking more like the start of a chapter in a book. I think it really added a certain, tangible something to how the tale comes off.
There were no glaring grammatical errors or anything that interrupted the reading experience. In fact, it is extremely noticeable that the author took great care with this work to make sure it was very polished up before posting. As a reader, I definitely appreciate that.
I would highly recommend this work. I think it’s going in a really great direction. If you’re a fan of fantasy (especially fantasy-style writing) with a few very original mixed-in elements, I’d say slow down and park your horse right here. ;P
P.S. The chapters are long and meaty (lots of substance). Definately a plus if you're a binge reader!

"Daug'makar" and "makar'osa" are fantastic terms. The idea of a "farsense" that's like an extended sense of touch is unique and visually interesting. Describing it as "cheating reality" is a brilliant, relatable way to put it. The mechanics feel consistent and have clear costs and limitations (needing training, being disorienting), which prevents it from being an easy solution to every problem.
Deros is a Great Lens He's the perfect protagonist for this world. He's curious, a bit cynical, grounded, and his background as a stargazer-turned-warrior gives him a unique skillset. His internal voice is strong—the bit about being "37 or 42" is a wonderful character detail. He feels real.
You spend a long time on the moons and Deros's backstory before the inciting incident (the dust/rider). While it's all beautifully written and informative, a modern reader's attention might wander. The action doesn't really kick in until about halfway through. Consider tightening the first few pages, maybe weaving more of his backstory in after the mystery of the rider is introduced.
The exchange with Telalo is fine, it does its job. But it feels a bit... functional. Telalo's "sleepy" character is cool, but his dialogue doesn't quite have a unique rhythm yet. Compare it to the vibrant, personality-filled interaction Deros has with Enseres (which is perfect). Injecting a bit more of that unique character voice into the human dialogue would make it sparkle.
