- zrightturnRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Not many series keep my attention for so long, I'm up to chapter 126. This is not just pure action. I get tired of books with nonstop Dungeon Delving or lost endlessly in a forrest. It keeps it fresh with interactions between the character and the world around him. Slow sensible progression, Politcs. A little clean romance too.
- BlothrenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An excellent merge of the cultivation type and western style novels. The story is good, MC is relatable and doesn't act way too smart for his age, and the concept/law system is excellent. MC is very talented but his powers aren't unreasonable, his luck might be a bit too good but it's still alright. I'm at chapter 39 right now. Thank you Author!
Review at chapter 182: I still think the story is good, and there are a lot of new chapters coming out. There is a nice love subplot, it's definitely not going to be harem and the love interest seems like will be able to keep up with MC at least for a while, which is nice. MC is not getting stronger overly quickly, the story is proggressing well, there seems to be a lot of potential remaining in it. - NinjaDuceRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just finished the first book. Extremely well written characters not just the Mc also plenty of memorable support characters that make an impact. Uniquely crafted magic system and top tier world building. Even though the Mc gets pretty strong they mostly work for and earn it. One of my new favorites on the site. I can't put it down. Lots of training and cultivation. Fun action. Also some darker elements, comedy and a sprinkle of romance
- NurrRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is a little different from most, which is a point in its favor.
It is reasonably well planned and written. So far I've not encountered any show stopping grammar, spelling, or story logic issues, nothing to break the suspension of belief. The author uses a slightly different magic system, which is enjoyable. While I'm not a fan of the "sect cultivation" approach with its utilization of drugs, pills and elixirs, my dislike is not enough to downgrade the story.
The MC is not strong on creativity, but maybe he'll learn. He does have personal drive and initiative to push himself to overcome difficult circumstances.
I've only started reading it but am pleased with the challenge and development to date. - One Way JusticeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love a good weak to strong MC story. A satisfying trope if done well. The twist in this story is that it's got a xianxia aspect in an unusual setting, which breathes a bit of fresh air in the trope. Very accessible writing with good flowing prose. It's easy to follow and enjoyable. The grammar is good, with proper care given to editing so that it's all neat and without many typos.
- RocksNPebblesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story does something far better than most, it is well written. A breath of fresh air where I’m not taken out of thr story and in fact am drawn into it, able to picture the environment and world, go along with the flow of evens, and the dialogue is solid. It isn’t overly flowery and is simply sufficient in all the ways you need to open up your imagination.
The world is great for a western cultivation story with a logical system and sensible world events. You can see how this works exists and there are no glaring logical issues with various aspects working together well.
The plot really moves with some appropriate time skips and the MC while relatively simple and young makes good choices generally, though isn’t perfect or a Mary Sue despite his advantages.
Seriously one of the better books on RR, if western cultivation and progression with some world building and a bit of slice of life, the training life, works for your tastes, then this is one of the good ones. - Skout73Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I thoroughly enjoy the world you’ve built in this story! The characters are interesting and the power system is well thought out.
Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good read.
some frustrating arcs but I think that means it’s a better story for it, I’m invested enough that I have feelings - TempnameRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Im really enjoying the story so far it’s got that classic cultivation vibe to it and it’s well written with little grammatical errors so that’s a big plus in my book
there isn’t any flaws I can see so far but I’m only fifteen chapters in, still, even if there were any I would give this story a five star rating if only because I’m biased towards the things I like
give it a try, especially if your looking to read something that isn’t another litRPG. There’s just so many of them now and this is a refreshing read - VaultedSignalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0in Short: I have been binging this read for the ast couple of days and cant stop reading it when I have time.
somethings I like about the sotry:
- the dynamic between the charcters is really fun
- the world building is great
- I like the romance that started in the chapters I am now and hope is develops
- its not to fast and not to slow with the progression - Bang LaoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Style 5/5
The story is immersive and the author quickly hooks you.
The story like unlike many in the genre does not make ur brain hurt or you eyes bleed, The writing style is immersive. It is clear that the author takes his time to produce something that he himself would like to read. The general feeling of this story is the unexplored diamond that is waiting to be found, and it has immense potential once found and polished.
Story 5/5
The story feels like a mix of all my favourite fictions and this is the first time ive felt like that, it is clear that the author is an avid enjoyer of the genre and picks and chooses the elements that he enjoyed most from other great works.
Pacing feels logical and well thought out, the charcter also deserves his growth and nothing is rushed with large timeskips. The timeskips serve their pupose of not zooming in to much on the day to day of the character while still making it feel logical and natural.
Grammar 5/5
Is on point and does not disturb the story what so ever. Some typos exist but the flow of the story is not interupted. Punctuation is masterfully done and the flow of the story is good.
Character 5/5
Adion is the main charcter and he is both hardworking, analytical and likable with a slightly mysterious edge to him. The MC follows his own morals and does not hesitate to do what he thinks is right.
Overall 5/5
The story hooked me almost instantly, the pacing and the language used is immaculate. The character and the development of said MC is also both deserved and satafactory to read.
Highly recomend this fiction!! it is a blast to read :)
