Brock just wanted to be good at sports. He didn't feel like that was too much to ask. What the hell is an 'isekai' anyways? Brock sure doesn't know, but he's about to find out!
Cat Squad Six is a satire on various isekai, LitRPG, and anime tropes, including but not limited to: OP MCs punching things, "systems," harems, tournament arcs, school rankings, murderbots, accidentally starting cults, joining the Adventurer's Guild, why Appraisal should be regulated, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Inspired by the writings of Terry Pratchett, the foolishness of Gintama, and the consumption of entirely too much anime/isekai/wtfJapan?! media. This blurb may change occasionally if I feel like it.
Updates on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I'll get a (real) cover when I get around to it. Bow before my msPaint skills.

Great character design, super interesting setting, can't wait for the rest. Good mix of comedy and serious topics, and by God do I hope Brock gets more therapy.

Style:
The style of the story is a 'what if' of the common isekai. What if? more and more people were sent to a single world? What if? a lot of those people weren't sent there in their bodies, but inhabited others like a parasite, like in so many other isekai's. What if these parasites were inflicted with something that made them murdery to everyone but themselves and their own? Its a great twist on the isekai genre and I love it. 5/5
Story:
The story is well written, the chapters are decently long, and I read each one well entertained. I enjoyed the story, it's why I bookmarked the book. If you are looking for a good book, look no further. 5/5
Grammar:
I noticed no spelling mistakes, grammars good. Nothing else to say. 5/5
Character:
The characters are incredibly varied, a world of isekai tropes tends to do that afterall, and I love it. They are entertaining to the story, they work well, and they make the book better than if they didn't exist

Overall, read the book. It's entertaining and I love it - HarleyWombatRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0So far very entertaining, but we are a couple dozen chapters in and it feels like our likable and OP MC is still in reaction mode. I’m going to keep reading to see what happens next and if he develops a plan of some sort. Secondary characters hint at depths unplumbed - more to look forward to.
