About the story itself: it's so Wholesome . No gore, no murder, no fanatical killing . Just an amazingly thought out world and great story telling. I can't stop reading. Honestly. The emotions feel natural, the dialogue isnt clunky, and there is this never ending rush of excitement. The 3hrs it took me to cover 40 chapters of it, my mind was buzzing the whole time.
If you're looking at this and thinking of giving it a whirl, do it.

But I could be biased as I love deckbuilders.

I'll be honest that this story took a while to get into. I did not like the split between the past and present. It was confusing and caused the flow of the story to feel very disjointed. As the story progresses it demonstrates the MC's growth and I can slowly feel all the small pieces starting to build up to something.  It is a new take on crafting compared to what I've read before and I am really enjoying it. Also I love that while there is a sense of competition the MC is not focusing on sabotage, but rather how they can improve. Overall has a feel of hopefulness :)
