Description
Former university student, now a monster in another world, Kiel's life started on the wrong track from the get go.
Not letting his rough start get to him, however, he found that the freedom of his new world suited him rather well. No more sleepless nights, no more chasing classmates for borrowed notes, no more losing hair to the impossible exams each semester. Instead all he had to worry about was being eaten while he slept, goblins roaming inside the forest and zones of unstable space which could turn one into minced meat.
A cat's got to do what a cat's got to do, and for the peaceful life he has in mind he will have to figure out his place in the world; starting by exterminating the goblins and getting out of the deadly forest he found himself in.

- pelyaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A proper monster isekai where MC does not even think of becoming human, because being a cat is obviously superior.
There's no harem, MC stays loyal to his furry moster waifu, and they travel together to achieve great deeds, as expected.
He also acquires some human subordinates, who adore him and follow his every command without question, as intended by the very laws of nature. In return he magnanimously lets them cook food for him and provide him with neck scratches, and power-levels them as necessary to the plot. - AsherDraconaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The dream of every cat lover, to become a cat. Space magic is just a bonus. Really liking the relationships in this book, especially between the MC and Edel. The way the author has/is making the system and it's workings a part of the story in a more tangible way, instead of just satus box and exp updates, is quite interesting and I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
- RavenWolfNorthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The headaches and comedy of a young man stuck in the body of a cat monster. Enjoyable read, hints of deeper mystery.
Currently, I have quickly read through the chapters and I enjoy the author's portrayal of the animals present. The little pieces of Kiel's cozy life with his wolf friend lift my spirits and his cunning use of cat behavior is spot on. I appreciate the mystery surrounding the system and the entities threatening it. Kiel does not choose what I would and that's good writing- he has his own fears and wants. - RocksNPebblesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a great story for the genre, the writing is good, progress is good, and dialogue is good. It doesn't go all cutesy and plays it straight. The world is interesting and is building up over time. System is sensible and solid with an emphasis on creative use and training of skills. Overall one of my favourite new fictions and I wish there was more to read.
- hynaoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is the story of a new cat in the woods.
I really like the mc. Transmigrated into a dangerous housecat he roams his new equally dangerous environment.
He gets to know new friends.
There is some litrpg but not as many as in other stories. Yes this is a litrpg story but you should not expect many status updates or system messages.
The author describes the world and system pretty good.
The grammar and style has no significant errors i know of (english is not my 1st language so i might not be the best one to check it)
The update intervall is pretty good.( unfortunately this might change drastically after the event)
The character is , in my opinion, a housecat. Yes he transmigrated into the woods and there is some disgusting food (like goblins) but the character really wants to sleep a lot and eat cooked food in a safe environment and likes to get fondled a lot.( not in any sexual way)
Unfortunately there is one very negative thing:
The author seems to have a history of at least 3 hiatus stories. - inflatablewolfieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly, this is just what I needed at the moment, after reading a few fics that were emotionally heavier.
At this point, nothing goes too deep, the characters aren't thinking too hard about things and are generally just likeable.
It doesn't, as of the time of the writing, have deep plots, enticing politics or major character developments and that's absolutely fine.
It does have a lighthearted story, cute and lovable characters and enough plot elements and adventure to make the reading fun and engaging.
It's got my seal of approval, however little weight that has. - IdentityRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5It's a pretty good story, reincarnated as a cat the MC starts leveling, surviving and thriving, we also slowly get introduced to the world, its creatures, the magic and the companions he finds.
While it's nothing incredible, it's still a pretty well done story that I'd recommend reading, especially since what will follow will likely be much better than the somewhat slow (at least worldbuilding-wise) start. - femBoyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is a solid story. It’s a good read and is pretty easy to follow for the most part. It’s has a few unique aspects to it, while also retaining many of the tropes common to stories with a very generous system and magic.
I do have a couple things I’d like to say about it, and while I definitely think it deserves 4.5 stars, it has room for improvement.
The MC, like many others with a system, doesn’t like Earth and is glad to be gone, either having bad experiences or a hard life. This I understand, and I’m glad the author doesn’t go on rants about how Earth was this horrible place and how this new one is so much better.
Having him as a cat is pretty fun and I like it, other than how it can be confusing how a normal sized cat can decapitate a man sized monster with one swing. Unless I missed something, it’s not really explained how half inch claws could do that.
Third thing is about how quick deep bonds are formed, and they feel forced. I can understand some, but others just feel weird, with forced tears and sobbing over dumb topics.
Finally, it’s no surprise that we see only female characters around our MC, and men are either bad, disliked, or have zero character for no reason.
Give it a read if you somehow read this far down the review, and don’t read too much into things like the claws I mentioned before. Compared to lots of the edgy teens who get reincarnated and hate the world, this story does much better being relatable. - AncientDreamZzRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I'm an animal lover and also a huge fan of monster progression fantasies (even wrote one myself), but I'll keep this bias-free as much as I could. Overall, I find this novel very enjoyable for a casual read, it's nicely paced and I didn't find anywhere to be too difficult to follow at all. If you're like me and like an isekai, non-human mc, then you can give this one a try.
I personally don't mind what type of writing style the author uses, though I'd still like to give some feedback on it. There were some paragraphs that, I as a writer, noticed could be adjusted for better flow and reducing the redundancy of certain sentences. Improving this will definitely make the reading experience much more enjoyable than it already is.
As for the story, I don't see much of a complicated plot going on yet as of Chapter 10, this is about Kiel adapting to his new world and body, after all, so I don't expect there to be any dramatic development plot-wise. I like chill, wholesome stories like these, with some fights here and there to spice things up. Nothing much to comment here yet as I'm reviewing this from Chapter 10.
Since I'm not a native English speaker, I can't give proper feedback on the grammar portion of the novel. I've spotted mistakes here and there, though the author also quickly fixes them from what I can see.
So far, the characters are what make this novel shine the most. Kiel seems like a well-written character so far as we follow his perspective, we get to slowly learn more about his personality and motives. I haven't had the chance to analyze the other characters that appear in the story yet, but the humans sure make my blood boil sometimes. I like Edel though, her and Kiel's interactions are nothing short of adorable. - El Gran LectorRoyal Road★★ 2.0Average story is not bad but not good either, the protagonist adapts too quickly to the new world does not reflect the true dangers of a magical forest, the animal life feels lacking,The system is too simple, it does not attract too much attention nor is it really striking, it lacks many improvements. It has other problems in almost every chapter that ruin the reader's immersion in the story, good readers will notice what I'm talking about that ruins the reading immersion.
