Calamity Lord Academy: Is It Wrong For A Human To Become The Next Demon Lord? [OP MC Reincarnation Fantasy]
Community Rating
Description
When a human appears in the Demon Realm, out of nowhere, and then declares he will become the next Calamity Lord,no one takes him seriously.
Why would they? Humans are the weakest of all the Races, with next to no magical power in their circuits. How could a Human ever, possibly, become the tyrant of Creation or, heaven forbid, obtain the Edict?
But Ain is not an ordinary Human. He passes on Emperor-level techniques like they are nothing and claims to know the current Calamity Lord... fromtwo thousand yearsago.
Who is Ain? Will he obtain the Edict this time around? Will he save his two goblin subordinates from crippling financial debt and murderous ex-wives?
Most importantly, there is no rule that says a Human can't become the Calamity Lord.

- Zen NyoukiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I just finished reading the entirety of the first book, and how I wish I had read this sooner.
It's a masterpiece, no other way to say it. The characters are fun, the comedy is just amazing, and so on.
To be honest, at first I had deemed this as junkfood, as being the same as the other LN trash. Something to pass by time.
But dear God this is a masterpiece.
All in all, I came for the crack, and left with tears.
I rate it 50/5. Unfortunately I can only rate up to 5. - MortiefiedBearRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I read all of volume one after subbing to the creators patreon, so I'm basing my review off of that. Holy. Crap. Until today, the last time I actually laughed out loud reading a book was reading The Blue Mage Raised by Dragons. Now into the details:
Seriously, read this ASAP.
Style score:
Nothing bad to say here. Weaver clearly has a distinct style in this story, and it works great. The action sequences are described just enough to make sense and conjure some great mental imagery, but also leave room for your imagination to fill in the gaps. I prefer this style of action writing, so I'm all here for it.
Grammar Score:
No glaring grammar issues, or any really, that I could think of. Minus those that were intentional, of course.
Character Score:
While you might think the main character is Ain, you'd be sorely mistaken. Who cares about Ain when we have Def and Troma, our two lovable goblin friends? Def, with his countless ex-wives, horrible credit score, and ocean deep loans (he'll pay them off, or die trying to weasel his way out of them). Troma, with his PhD in economics and perhaps a slight bit of brain damage. Yes, these are the real main characters, my friends! They'll have you holding your gut from laughter. I promise you that.
Story Score:
Perhaps my only gripe with the story is that, as it stands right now, I need more of it. Admittedly, it's unfinished, and the author is actively working on volume 2. The story itself, though, is great, and reminiscent of the manga Helck. A human hero, for some odd reason, wants to become the Demon lord (or Calamity lord, as it's called here). There's clearly more to him and the history of this world than we currently know as of the end of volume 1, but its been set up in a way where I am incredibly exciteed to read how things progress further.
