- Rutted_BrutteRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I tried the story a while ago but had to give up due to the lack of editing. That seems to have been fixed. While there are still some errors, they don't affect the quality of the story.
I'm glad because the story is actually very fun. The dungeon used to be a magical expert, so unlike in most other stories, unlocking new monsters is all about experimenting instead of leveling up and being gifted new models.
I can't say much about the story yet, so far it's about smaller goals than an overarching plot. Which isn't necessarily a problem, even if the author keeps it that way. Overall an enjoyable story if you like dungeon core books. - UniceRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It is fresh and have a lot of action can be alitel confusing at the begging but the author fix it hope it continue.
For the author pls for the love of god do not leave this book it can be really good yours ideas are really good and the writing is just going better and better - IllthylianRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I'm not sure what it says when I can open one of these stories and practically skate through the first few chapters, since they are almost always identical. If it works, it works, and it works here; magic exists, reincarnation exists, person has become a dungeon core, don't question it and move on, fair enough. From there, however, the story turns a mix of expected and odd, the new dungeon core of course interested in expanding its territory, its ranks, and all associated stats. What seems to be utterly lacking is an awareness of surroundings. To put it simply, WHY any of this is being done.
Throughout the story thus far, every moment and every thought is being given to writing scenarios and explanations for the core discovering new mechanics, for finding ways to level up its minions, to send out scouting parties and groups to locate new resources or corpses to make skeletons out of, and that's fine. But what the writer seems to have overlooked is putting nearly any effort into actually establishing our main character, our central protagonist, as a living and breathing (figuritively) person. What do they think about discovering entire new realities exist? Well they've got a couple comparisons to make between 'in my reality, this is normal' and 'well this is odd', but nothing further. What is their motivation, their goal, their plan? Despite being formerly an archmage in their previous life, they more or less act like they are aware they're in a dungeon-RPG fiction. 'I'm a core, so my life is about getting bigger because that's how these stories work'. Tropes and what is expected of the genre aren't so much leant on as they are the supporting pillars of this work, and things happen simply because 'this is what is supposed to happen in these kinds of stories'.
Beyond that, the biggest thing holding this work back is the spelling. And the grammar/structure of the story. This needed edits, badly, before being posted, to the point that not just one, but nume
