Description
Jack is a simple man. He reads for fun, which means he isn't picky. This fact probably saved his life when some kind of god type figure grabbed his soul and demanded help. Forced into servitude for a god that would like to be rid of him as soon as possible, Jack has to figure out how to survive. His solution? Building a system for an entire world of people, and hopefully not accidentally breaking the entire world in the process.

- Bobby jobbyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is... allot of things, perfect is not one of them but nothing is perfect, this story had a single focus and it ran until it achieved that focus.
Telling a story about a game dev under shit working conditions, it's fabulous. But the hard choices Jack is forced to make are what make the story shine. The most minor things in this story are the things which stick with you.
The people that surround our boy Jack are so incredibly well crafted in their interactions. Bursting with personality barely covers it.
The worst part of this story is the grammar, spelling mistakes, fat fingered extra letters, and the repeated word word we are guilty of doing when writing.
The ending has a hiccup feeling a little rushed but god-damn reading this over 4 days I got so attached ಥ‿ಥ and it's so beautiful. Somethings are left unresolved but when it's all over I can see the author put so much effort into this story .
It's a story with a couple meh chapters but on a site with limitless meh chapters and unfinished stories I'm glad the author decided to just get an ending.
The epilogue almost made me smash my phone, but this story is well worth the time I spent reading - CyberN91Royal Road★★★★ 4.0I didn't expect anything from this book, but it surprised me. The idea is very interesting and so far the author is implementing it quite well. Of the minuses, I note that the main character sometimes shows stupidity. For example, a lot of things he was worried about could be easily corrected by asking Diez. In the meantime, we can only expect more chapters, as well as an increase in the speed of plot development as they are released.
- Jason_BlunderRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I feel that the story is well done and has an interesting concept.
The author doesn't hold your hand. They give you information from Jack's point of view for the most part.
The characters that are important feel interesting and have reactions that make sense in the situations.
The only issue I have is two things
- things happen that go no where. I personally like this if their where plans to write more in this world where this stuff is revisited. Currently no second book is being written so it's a minor negative.
- The ending rushes at you rather quickly. How it happens and why it happens make sense but due to how quick it happened felt like a bunch of boxes being checked in comparison to the rest of the story.
Except for the ending the author dose a lot of show don't tell. It can be confusing and made me feel connected to Jack's desperation in early chapters.
The ending was disappointing. Jack was just accomplishing things without any details or actions described.
It really pulled me back from being invested in the story. I only kept reading because it was completed with only a few chapters left. - kadzooksRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0For a first time this is really good, you obviously have a good idea of the story in mind, the pretty substantial amount of chapters lay truth to that.
But the story does hit the ground running and it is somewhat overwhelming in my opinion, feels like there's no real breaks for any new story bits to settle in before we roll out more.
It can be very intimidating for someone like me who enjoys a slightly more relaxed story.
Maybe I'll return to this but for now I have to let it go.
