Broken Empires

Broken Empires starts when the most egotistical, spoilt man-child in history makes a deal with an alien race and tries to screw them over.

Starting in Far North Queensland, Australia, an unlikely group tries to take on not only a billionaire tech mogul but also stop the alien invasion. Armed with a bootlegged system and some shenanigans from a bored AI, they leverage the corruption within their allies' ranks to save the human race.

LitRPG elements weave in and out of the story as different aspects of the system collide, offering opportunities for cheating and abuse of the rules.

This slow burn/slice of life ramps up with characters who want to survive the coming invasion, gain power, practice skills and save people if they can. Multiple POV, with some AI love interests, some weird friendly aliens and even a bootlegged nanite-symbiont-hybrid.
