Given the choice to either provide some semblance of hope to a reality practically designed to kill it or remain powerless in an increasingly dystopian world, I went with the former.Now, let's see how much damage a well-intentioned but deeply flawed individual can inflict on a story he knows less about than he initially thought.Or:Originally named "Good Intentions and All That," this fic deals with someone who desperately wanted to make a difference in the world, even if it's not his original world. Unfortunately, everything he knows about the Parahuman series comes from fan fiction. As you can imagine, the consequences of his misconceptions and assumptions will be a major driving force of this story. Fortunately, he actually does know how to fight, but that's about it.And yes, I will be following canon as closely as I can. Me, not my SI.

Good premise, decent grammar. It's definitely readable but there are some major issues.
Characters knowing things they shouldn't weirds me out. Reactions are also really off and weird, doesn't feel human at all, characters feel like cardboard cutouts. Dialogue needs major work, reads like a non-native speaker or an edited machine translation. Every single conversation is technically correct so I can't ding it too much, they just don't have a natural flow. Kind of like when a basement dweller steps out into public for the first time and is having extreme difficulty with social interaction and doesn't know what to say or what not to say. Characters are also pretty OOC. They jump from bad conclusions when the MC is involved to immediately being hyper-competent the second he's out of eyesight while simultaneously being hilariously incompetent. Deducing his power and how it works with little to no information, then focusing on things people normally wouldn't. Glossing over important shit and focusing on strange issues.
Usually you see characters that might lack in certain areas but this is more like a mentally handicapped sherlock holmes, except it's every character then again that could just be shard fuckery. They all show incredible cognitive ability for figuring things out that should be somewhat difficult to intuit and then immediately act irrational and weird. The talk between Danny and Taylor specifically was very forced.
