Briox isn't the best or the brightest magus of Islandyer. But he may just be the last and not by choice. The Hyser empire conquered his homeland in only three months. Two years later he remains in hiding struggling to survive when his speciality is condemned by the Holy Hyser Church.This is the tale of a magus, his creations, and the heights that they may reach.

    Nice story, the plot seems to look like 'A Mage's Revolt' on Qidian, which is about a mage being persecuted by a religious institution and fighting against said religious institution. That story sort of feels like GoT with all the schemes and backstabbing and power play within the Church, however, this story is still to early to judge as similar in backstabbings and scheming. The grammar and flow could use a little work but it's unedited

    STYLE: It was good. I like how you stick to the status quo and not making your own style or trying different style to tell your story. Because most authors do and it destroy the quality of the story.
    STORY: It was refreshing. I like that you start the story after the downfall of the school/academy because most magic story start with getting enrolled in a academy which bores me. Also I like how he

    Create creatures rather than summon one coz it's the first time I read about it here in RRL.
    GRAMMAR: Few grammatical errors here and there. And words sometimes lack punctuation. It's not major that it'll make the story unreadable.
    CHARACTER: I really like briox. And that's probably because of his magic.
    Overall: it was a fun read. One thing I don't like about this is there's so little chapter available. Sad.

    As of right now (it tells me it was posted 12 hours ago) the three chapters that are given are great. I hope that the author keeps with it to see what this novel ends up as. I also found that it’s well written even though the author says it’s unedited.
