Briareth Herbalar is bored. Everything has gone well since the elves and dwarves made peace. Balderk and Istere are doing well, Faladel– is well– being Faladel, but nothing is happening. And Briareth isn’t the type to happily sit around in Heronmal and wait for another adventure to find him. He’s determined to find it first. And the crazy Librarian they had visited to learn about the war’s beginnings had mentioned something interesting. A world outside their own, a world filled with new adventure’s to last even an immortal’s lifetime, a world Briareth is determined to explore. However, what was going to be a simple adventure suddenly has much higher stakes than expected when an old friend shows up– on the wrong side of an ancient conflict.

And when all the cards fall, when tides and war shift, when even the spells themselves begin to unravel, can Briareth handle the resulting chaos?

How far can he stretch his horizon before it collapses?

The story concept is pretty unique with great worldbuilding, the character growth is very satisfying to see, there are very few to now errors, updates are pretty regular (once a week), and overall it is written extremly well!

Love the world building and characters!
So far we have a minor mystery, multiple magical contraptions, culinary hijinks, pet-napping through cuddle bribary and some of my favorite characters off on another adventure.
This is starting out as a great slice of life romp with delightfully written characters that feel more like old friends than a written story. Mostly fun so far, with occasional tugs at the heartstrings... though something does seem to be bothering Faladel.
Can't wait to see what trouble Briareth and Faladel get into in their new adventure!
