- CommenatorerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0If you are after a sticom take on the LITRPG genre this is most definitly your destination!
There is some expectation on the reader to be familiar with the setting and the tropes to truly get what is happing, the humor with the scenes described which when in the know leads to an episodic/sitcom feel. Whilst the story itself is linier there are quite obviously undescribed/explained time skips again leaving the reader to do some more mental lifting.
If you can imagine a game system where the users actions are taken literaly and have corrosponding and lasting reprecutions then you definitly have the scope of this work in mind. The characters are relatable and easy to understand with comedic banter and interplay between them as they are gradualy introduced, with recuring side characters and gags further cementing the episodic/sitcom feel.
Whilst the world and scenerey is hardly groundbreaking it is comfortable and understandable, any gamer or gamelit fan will find this a relaxing comedic read and it is wholeheartedly 4 stars. I would score it higher but there are some lacking descriptions and gaps that could be filled, keeps up the good work!
