Hawk West is not the scientist we need right now. She's an entomologist, a "bug doctor", with a specialization in ants and an obsession with honeypots. Her husband, Alex West, is a reformed con artist. But a billionaire's pet business, the Ararat Project, has just torn a hole in the fabric of reality, and the things on the other side aren't friendly.
