Description
The whole room is fully ablaze when the fire turns blue and even hotter. And I still keep my hands on the rune, ignoring the sizzling of my flesh. After a while I notice the blue, roaring flames on the other side of the window. At the edge of unconsciousness, I listen to the screams of people as they are taken by the Inferno.

If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website.

- EvrinRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So this is Andur's new project and judging from the plethora of stories he's come out with, you can expect a consistantly good result.
(If you haven't read his other works, I recommend getting to those as they're good fun reads)
There aren't really enough chapters yet to give a decent review, but to be honest, I just felt that rating this sooner than later would at least expedite its rise to the best active list so that I don't have to search for it every time I log on.
Totally selfish reasons, but still looking forward to the story!
Edit: Well, that didn't take long, story made it to the front page already! - WintrybullRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The book is fun and interesting, most of the characters are reasonably fleshed out, but the main character.
The main character is so good. Do recommend that you read. I will probably reread it sooner or later, but I did read this book in 3 days during exams so... what can I say I recommend. - callmesteveRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really liked this one, but since Armaell hasn't gotten the downloads done yet, I'm posting my homebrew version. Hopefully it looks good enough.

ps. copy paste of my comment on the last post on laws of shadows.
I have read everything from Until Death? to this one and I look forward to the next one.
Tho I would love more details on your old books there is so much potential there, the story of their children, their lives after the point u left it off for, etc.
the story of their children,
their lives after the point u left it off for,
etc.
For eg. in this one, u could make a whole new book on just how they find out more about the pathways,
And we still don't know how the multiverse from the court of souls and agent of the realm came around,
There is so much to explore in your books.
I look forward to how this new one goes.
good luck and keep writing cos I will keep reading.

Pajit3 - xTheBourbonKidRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I've read all of Andurs stories and enjoyed them, but atleast for me the whole multiverse/reincarnation theme turns old. There isn't much to say about the story itself, the grammar is except for negligible mistakes perfect, the character has clear attributes and thought patterns which are realistic, the writing style is entertaining and is easy to follow and the world seems organic.
My "critic" is that the basics of the story become predictable if you know Andurs other works, which harms my enjoyment while reading. It just feels like he is wasting his talent by sticking to the same characters in different reincarnations instead of trying new things. - Karl NordRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is one of those stories which don't deserve a long review. Why? Well there's not much wrong with it. Let's start with the cons because they're really short:
1. The MC is a little disconnected from life; however, this is also a nice part of what drives the story. Minor spoiler:
She has reincarnated too many times.
2. The ending felt slightly rushed but... ...there is an ending! This book has a real plot and it is competently executed.
3. There is a lull in the plot just before the ending when the MC gets domestic. The world building gets kind of back loaded in this way. The MC gets domestic because... ...she becomes too powerful. This is a pretty common problem in stories with high power levels.
Big Kudos to the Author for the Following:
1. The absurd power levels of this story have some awesome action scenes. I don't like action scenes but this is where it's at. If you enjoy the first 5 chapters, then you'll enjoy this story.
2. The world-building is ever-present, but never feels like it is too much. The world has real politics. The world and politics is tied up in the plot.
3. Imagination: there's just about every shade of type in the story. It can feel almost cartoony though because we proceed through story elements at such a break-neck speed. This goes back to the MC being a bit detached from life and OP. I hope the author writes more at this tempo.

Karl Nord - dositheeRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Unemotional. mostly about politics and mc buidling own magical devices and country. Much like Daniel Black...
This review is mostly for my benefit so I can recall why I dropped this.
Thank you author for this and your other works
years later, this review has helped me! Thanks old me! You are such a mensch! - HisperiaRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The prelude is a strong enough draw that it propels the work through middling world building and rather lackluster dialogue to a point. I’ve not yet reached the point where I’ve given up on this piece yet it’s hard to see how it’s going to draw me back in.
As the MC heads out into the wide world the world is a bit of a boiler plate disappointment it’s not bad but it’s just enough. The beginning is packed with action, excitement, anger & drama but after the fires of that burn out were left with a rather average performance. If that were all I wouldn’t feel so disappointed there are places where it falls short sure but that isn’t enough to bring me to question continuing to read on.
There is a dissonance between the world building and the dialog maybe it lands better in another language other than English. I could be over thinking this I get the impression of a medieval world is one that is offensive to the olfactory. With that said all of the stinking peasant this up wind that without actually laying out the nitty gritty is a bit sloppy and I was hoping for better.
Sure this is supposed to be a multiracial, multicultural & multi governmental world but the way things transition from the god level view to ground level can be ham-fisted at times. I’m interested in this story because of all of these clashing and dissonant elements but that it screams this world doesn’t work instead of sitting down and painting a picture in a entertaining of why.
Where this story really let me down was when we reached what I can only describe as the anti-democratic phase because that’s what it is. I can and do enjoy a read that is set in a dysfunctional and or dystopian society the way the world is painted is half the fun of it. Just hearing democracy is terrible spelled out directly not only isn’t satisfying but it’s a bad look almost to agenda status.
I’m being a little over dramatic but not by much we have opening quotes such as “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute con - VatanRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I don't want to do an advanced review as this story is weird. Now some may not find this not to be an issue but for me the quality of the writing has degraded in this story. It started out with an very interesting premise and followed up with a well written expansion the world that was established. It's when we get to the later development of the character and story that we see problems. First as a reader I don't know most of the motivations of the MC and while there is plenty of story written from the MC's point of view as a reader I am not privilege to the thoughts and desires of the MC. This becomes a major problem as the MC goes through several major events without the reader knowing the impact of these on the MC. The author seems to have a general direction or plot lined out for this novel and its seems pretty good from what I know so far but the pacing of this novel is too fast to carry out the plot. This story needs long sections of dialogue and action only told from the point of view of the MC so as a reader I can better understand the thoughts and feelings behind the MC. The reason the story is weird as the side characters are better set up than the main character which leads to disconnect problems as I empathize with the side characters more than the MC as the major plot points are usually half or more told from the point of view of the side characters. I like this author and from their other works this wasn't an issue for me so hopefully this review doesn't influence them negatively as I am a fan of some of their earlier works.
- HarshbrownsRoyal Road★★★ 2.5I'm going to edit this controversial review entirely. At chapter 35, this review has garnered 17 thumbs up and 18 thumbs down to be at the bottom fo the first page of reviews. I've been following this story because short and the Andur is a good writer in general.
Pros and Cons below. Press "SHOW MORE" to see.
The beginning of this story starts off weak. It tries to be edgy, and the authors own comments indicate that it was supposed to be "darker", unless I read the wrong thing somewhere.
Spoiler: Spoiler
The main character starts out as a sex slave for an abusive master, and slave from birth. She also happens to be repeatedly reincarnated. She quickly finds her self in an event that leads to her freedom from her 'Slave Collar'. She uses her new found freedom to magically obliterate an entire city with a single spell because 'she understood magic more than them and they didn't have defenses for it'.
A pretty weak explinations/plot device to be honest.
It then goes on to describe how she knows all this stuff that the world doesn't know and will use it to make a position for herself.
Now, after that part, our main character for many chapters is ment with MINOR issues she has to deal with, that she typically deals with in a single chapter, or is resolved quickly into the next chapter.
At this point I felt the story was episodic, resolving every issue in a single chapter.
After this, around 20~ it started getting into more 'slice of magic adventure life' where she just traveled around 'doing things'.
Spoiler: Spoiler
She has a bunch of 'secret plans' that she 'begins to execute' but doesn't tell the audience the whole details of, but you get some parts of chapters that show other perspectives of people executing those plans.
There's also a strange point where the author tries to introduce some sort of reasoning for power in this world that feels week.
Spoiler: Spoiler
She has a flashback ina dream to when she's a slave, and they are picking her out of lineup of other sla
